The most enjoyable part of the job was that you got to meet new people everyday. You got used to having some regular customers, but then you would get a lot of new customers as well. Some times you would meet people that were just visiting on vacation or business trips from different countries. It's always nice when you meet people from farther countries and get to talk to them and hear a small story about where they are from and why they are visiting, an example of this was picking up a nice couple visiting on vacation from Ireland. They were a very nice couple and were very friendly on the first trip, a few days later it was nice to be able to pick them up and drive them again and be able to already have a connection with them already that makes them feel like regular customers even when they are so far from home.

Busy atmosphere with overall good team work with little management supervision. Overall good learning experience in all aspects of the Taxi industry including: Dispatching, Call taking, Customer relations, Route planning and Digital Dispatching System, Reception/Administration, Accounting,Managing fleet of over 96 taxi owners/drivers.
Issues within the company due to shareholders & politics however office atmosphere was generally pleasant amongst the staff.
In my 10 years of employment here I gained a great deal of experience in all aspects within the company & industry which can be applied in many other fields.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with degenerate customers who rip you off

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
N/A you work for yourself but drive for an owner 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long and not very profitable  and appears to be lots of favoritism.

The arrogance of some of the employees is a bit much, especially given with a need to dominate others.  Those same people have atrocious spelling and very inappropriate workplace behaviour.  Very little real communication between admin and support staff (call center).  Do not work here if you have any self-respect.  Gossip reigns supreme. 

Very bad place to work, would put negative rating if available, employers takes advantage of employees, no appreciation for any employee yet managment expects you to work different times and varous shifts on a weekly basis.  Lots of complaints from customers about drivers, and nothing is done, drivers quick to blame staff for a"bad" day.

Micro managment, take advantage of good people, favour bad employees, hard hrs, no thought to make employees work double shifts or over hours, raises are not given, no chance for advancement, drivers lazy and argumentative 

People are nice and it can be busy at times . But for the most part it's a good place to work . The bosses are good . Some times they would get lunch and or coffee for us. Again a good place to work .

i really enjoy driving taxi for such a well known company. made a lot of friends threw co workers or customers. hardest part of job is the hours and the stress of dealing with some people.

I enjoyed the fast paced environment, worked as a call taker, back up dispatch also dispatch. I was also moved to the front office for Administration which encouraged me to go back to school.

I worked for many companies and gtt was the worse. Some dispatchers are vengeful, rude and manipulative and you get fired for reporting any wrong doings or 
unjusts being done..orunjusts
