Good Earth Café

I loved my time working at Good Earth as a barista. The staff, management, and customers were all warm and friendly.Flexible schedule--perfect for students who already have a lot of other commitments. Definitely recommend!

I've worked many barista jobs and I hated, mainly because of the management. Although I love making latte art and engaging with customers. So I gave being a barista another chance and I have no regrets. I felt like I've grown as a person working here. I've met so many great people (customers and staff.)  I've never worked for a place that encourages you to be yourself that recognizes your every effort until I started here. The management is great and I don't ever wake up dreading to go to work.

Was a nice and new experience working as a barista. Great staff and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the opportunity as a new mother to get back into the work place, even if it was brief.

I learned how to use machines that seemed too complex to work with. I enjoyed working with multiple customers and the "regulars"
Felt nice to produce a great cup of coffee/ food, bringing smiles to peoples faces.

I've always enjoyed cafe settings. The coffee is good, cafes play the best relaxing music. My boss was very easy going. The work flow was busy, I enjoyed multi tasking and working with others. The hardest part of the job would have to be an unsatisfied customer.

A typical day at work was serving customers and chating with the regulars, I learned how to make different drinks like smoothies and how to work and expresso machine as well as prepare catering I had fun in this job until they switched management.

At Good Earth Cafe I learned basic food prep and specialty coffee skills.

I did typical cafe work such as cleaning, serving, food prep, and cashier. I also did ordering and some training of new staff.

This was a great place to work, however the lack of room for advancement and the lack of raises offered was a downfall. There was no real room for advancement at all.

Management was friendly and well organized. Salary was low but that's customer service for you. I am grateful to have the coffee and barista skills that I do and made a lot of friends at work that I still have today.

Every day was a new adventure there. We shared some good times and lots of laughs. The customers made it so worthwhile. I got to know a lot of the regulars and their orders. I loved it there.

I loved working at Good Earth, the customers were great and I enjoyed the staff. Time off was never a problem either management took care of it or someone would trade.
