Working at Gray Line West Cost Sightseeing was great working with the all the employees and the management  was great  staring of from day one. Starting my day off getting to work find out what bus was driving and what sight was I posted at. then got to the bus do a gas, oil and antifreeze check up then  all around body lights inspection. Then as the bus was all warmed up ready to hit destination where  to start  and also do a ready check make sure it works to keep in contact to the front desk in  charge of all the buses and picked up and dropped at customers  at different sight and locations where I kept great communication over the radio with all the customers and informing them of the sights as we arrived  there and same time all the customers have map of the sights if did not have one then one was given and any questions were asked they were given back with full information.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting different people from around the world. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The management, very poor management.  I was one of the top drivers for 6 years. They told me that I should probably find another job after I came back from being off on WCB for an accident that was not my fault.  A car turned left in front of my bus. 
Not a nice way to be treated. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very fast paced , you have to be in with the right people. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Usually a 10 to 12 hour day, they push you for as much as they can.

I worked as a Karaoke Holiday Host, so the job was only seasonal. It was pretty fast paced but the only reason it was stressful was because I was basically the main entertainment for customers for about 3 hours- all during the holiday season. Though it was stressful, I got along just fine and I’m still a high school student, so I was worried I would not get alone well with my other coworkers. However, they helped me to start off right and made sure I did my best every night  There was also no shortage of wise words from everyone twice my age !

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people are amazing and the managers accommodating

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Old buses and the low pay. Although if you have a personality, you can make decent tips to make up for it.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Uniform required and professionalism expected. Not an issue.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Usually 10 hour days. No overtime as you get commission, which is a bit shady

Everyone was friendly, the culture was relaxed and helpful. Made friends, and a great work reference for the future. Fulltime work was provided, and the training mentorship was absolutely first rate. Learning how to thread the needle with a Prevost motorcoach in downtown traffic jams, and entertaining passengers on the intercom was my favorite experience. I made great tips.

The staff super friednly and collaborative. 
Reservations manager is always going above and beyond to make sure the team is happy. Great work culture where you feel valued and appreciatted while always learning new skills.
Compensation is not the best moneywise, however the environment makes it all worth it.
 

This company may be suitable for students looking for flexible hours, with a casual work culture and opportunities to gain experience in the tourism industry. However, it falls short in several important areas. Management is disorganized and shows clear favouritism, which affects workplace morale. Pay is below industry standards, there's no proper HR structure, and record keeping is inconsistent.

I love there dress code and the logo . Company related to Tourism and Manegment performance to  treat employees i think best way . My experience was best with there Manegment . All employees were very friendly.  I have learned a lot from there even build my new career with them.  Frankly speaking I love to drive Motor coach with one of the big Tourism company. 

I was a tour guide at West coast, and it was a great summer job. Dealing with the public is never easy, but my coworkers and management were very supportive with any issues I came to them with. There are many opportunities for stating your ideas and suggestions. Requesting time off is super easy, and the scheduling manager takes all of your concerns into a count. 

A high energy and fast paced role.
Opportunity to grow for the right people.
Management works for you if you are well liked. If you aren't as popular, you maybe become suppressed and frustrated.
You won't be bored and will want to scream sometimes. 
Burnout is the word here. Be careful you keep your work life and home life separate.
