I love my job most of the time. I don't love the hours. there are a lot of them!
Some of the reviews of this place are out to lunch. you can't say "not a bad place" then rate 5 stars. It doesn't make sense. Also, it's not  a 1 star place to work either. Nobody gets beaten for not making quota. Gray Ridge has supported my professional growth much more than the last place I worked.
Management is out to lunch. More than anywhere else I've worked. I'm surprised scheduling is as complicated as it seems when we only deal with one product.
The company works us hard, but I feel like they treat us well. Communication between departments needs improvement.

I regret leaving my old job for this one. It's hard, little help from co-workers, and those that do help, are few and far between. Afternoon shift is impossible to keep staff, even with a shift premium. If you can do it, it's not a bad job; 3 breaks, dinner at dinner time, then two ten minute breaks to keep you on a normal schedule of sorts.

Pros: Time can fly by, most people are decent, and it's a job that doesn't require a lot of mental strain.

Cons: Time can also crawl when things aren't going great. Little help when you struggle. Frustrations and stresses are high, production is more important than the people.

If you can secure a promotion, great place! If not you will have to fight always to keep your job. Management will put you in the worst position possible if you aren't what they want. They're excellent at making someone quit.
  If you want to excell in this company I believe that is not an option. They have a lot of chiefs , and a revolving door of indians. If you want a good job there know the management. If they like you, you will have a very easy job. 
   
  

Gray Ridge Eggs is the place you work when you have lost all hope. The job is horrible. Nobody will help you. Everybody is miserable. 9/10 nights you will work short. Its hot.  Men will look women up and down. Management will not care about you (this includes harassment, needing time off etc). Only 10 min breaks. Not allowed to have water so you are thirsty most of the day. Do yourself a favour and never ever step foot in this place. You will thank me later.

I learned from working here the more you bend over the better they like it. So many safety issues they miss showing new staff entering the plant floor. Employees using power equipment Never make you aware of their oncoming machinery!!! So many close calls!  No communication between management and production. You never feel part of a team working here, even after 5 yrs. 

I was let go a week before my 3 months came up. No reason given. People get suspended for the littlest thing. The pay was alright on Sanitation, but regular line workers have no security or decent pay whatsoever. Only a select few of them who know how to play politics and know who to play them with get full-time status. The rest are part-timers and will get fired for looking at the right person wrongly.

I’m a truck driver. They don’t bother me. I like to drive for this company.

Try too find my why down town toronto with our hit a low bridge just a typical day the most enjoyable day was when they fired me,not a good company too work for ,

The management is rude, not able to handle any sort of conflict with employees fairly. Favouritism is a huge factor and if you are not one of the few people that they are willing to accept then you have no chance of promotion 

i did not like even one minute of working here, fast pace, men do loading and women are not allowed. 
i have worked a variety of jobs and this is at the bottom of the list. a week after i left i noticed the wages increased by $1 and i can see why.
