Greenwood Mushroom Farm

Working at the mushroom farm includes: 
- Weighing and Packing different mushrooms
- Working with Pump Trucks
- Being in a busy environment
- Following Orders and Instructions
- Being Co-operative and fair
- Willing to assist as needed, (Example: Helping someone lift a skid, or anything heavy) 
- The packing room is in a cooler so the most enjoyable part of the mushrooms farm is being able to wear warm, comfortable clothes

Typical day is usually very busy, lots of orders. You work until all your orders are complete so no set hours, part-time people don't get paid extra on holidays or get holidays off. Hours can be very long. Lots of machines running all the time so it can be loud and you often have to talk loudly or yell to be heard, but they play the radio while you are working.

I really enjoyed the experience I got at this job.  Unfortunately I was getting sick from the 20 various chemicals I was working with it was very difficult for me to continue to work there.  Although the company does have high standards of safety for their employees it was affecting my health therefore I couldn't stay anymore.

Keep looking for another job elsewhere because you will regret working here. Management lies to try to keep you promising advancement but they will hire new employees before hiring internally for higher positions. Don't trust them

Management not know what they are doing, really bad management a lot of nepotism, they make employees worked 68 hrs or more a week with no OT. If you have a friend there and and even though not have any skills you will be promoted. 

Interesting group environment, ability to change jobs day by day was important. I learned to work with other people and developed my interpersonal skills. Often long days with no idea of when the day will finish can be difficult

I enjoyed the work epically the physical aspects of it. the people there are nice and easy to work with . The work also gets you to be on your toes and think for the next job .

Worked there for 15 years done almost every job good people treats everyone fare and are very fare and very safety oriented and they use too provide safety awards 

Manager was very difficult to work for and with Great company other wise - better compensation would help the situation as well great partners great coworkers

worse paying job I have worked ever. just worked there till I found somewhere else to work. I didn't like it cause I couldn't understand anyone that worked there
