What is the best part of working at the company?
I am only casual but I think the best part of working there is how simple it is to get shift offers through a text and be able to bid on them there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part is really just situational due to being a casual employee and that is just that if you don’t work too often you will forget things and you are not as efficient at your job that way but that is nobody’s fault. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A great work environment depending on the ppl working that shift. Most of the ppl there are great to work with. The culture is very dynamic. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It can be extremely busy and stressful some days and other days are more relaxed but you are always busy.

Typical day would consist of confirming appointments, arriving patients, greeting people, managing phone lines. Parking was horrendous, very hard to find street parking and paid parking was very expensive. Management was terrible, they always try to take advantage of you, always fighting and trying not to properly compensate employees. Thank god for the union who would step in and stop managements penny pinching. They offer shifts but tell you if you want over time you can't have the shift, even if you've worked 6 days in a row. Management tried cutting costs on staff equipment and office supplies, often running out of important things, that are needed for the job. Supervisor had no people skills, they would sit in their office in the dark and wouldn't look at you when speaking to you. 

I like to keep a busy schedule all the time. I stay active at work and my typical day at work was Tuesday and Wednesday when we have Gestational Clinic, but we made sure that the patient's chart is ready before the end of the day on Mondays. The hardest part of the job is when there is a shortage of staff. The most enjoyable part of the job is when we finished before the deadline. I have learned  to work with different specialist, Nurse practitioner and Dietitians and how to process their medical orders. How to coordinate patient flow through registration utilizing e-Clinician software, and to discharge/print labels through VAX software. My job Title is Clerical. The management was very helpful and I learned a lot from all of my managers.

A typical day of work is busy with patients and lots of paperwork and preparation for the next day. I have learned lots of different things working in the hospital and continually learn something new on a daily basis. Management is very busy with administration and a large scope of other things, so I do not have a lot to do with them but appreciate how hard they work. My co-workers are great and awesome as team players being supportive and helpful at all times. The hardest part of my job is that it is nonstop but on the plus side that is what keeps me employed. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting all the different people with their individual stories.

Our typical day at work was Monday-Friday. we had different specialist and share the time and the day sometimes. I learned how to take and record the vitals signs and working in a fast-paced with different patient 
Management was great and my manager was very helpful
Team work was phenomenal 
The hardest part is when we dealing with the uncertainty
The most enjoyable part of the job is when we put a smile in the patients including the community

I wouldn't recommend this job to people who are typically happy people because no matter how many you area once you start a job here, you will honestly feel the atmosphere eventually weigh down on you. It's a very depressing atmosphere.

I have worked at Grey Nuns for 7 years now and I stayed because there values are aligned to mine. I also have grown so much as an individual working in a fast=paced environment. The diverse culture in the workplace had made me become a better communicator.

I had a great experience in that hospital. The staff nurses, doctors' and other health care professionals were very friendly and easy to work with, and they were helpful in my learning experiences. They taught me how to appreciate more my chosen career.

Unfortunately, patients are not able to receive quality, attentive care. "Too" fast- paced environment for patients to participate in own re-cooperation process.

This hospital used to be one of the best to work in.  Now, not so much.  Management is poor at best, job culture and moral is at an all time low.  Multiple individuals on stress leave.   Overall just not a happy place to work anymore
