Overall pretty good company in terms of people and projects. Was a little disorganized and crazy when new portion of company was launched and especially during launch but thats pretty normal for those projects. Wish there were yearly incentives $$, If you're not used to dropping one important project to jump to another hot plate then back again this might not be for you.  Just focus and stay in your lane and enjoy your teammates and you should be fine.

They have HR Videos but everyone including management breaks all of the rules.  Constant yelling and profanity in the building.  Management does not know how to lead, ran by a bunch of millennial that thinks taking orders on the phone is sales.  Talk to someone and it's in one ear and out the other.  For the pay they want to provide, just go some place that will treat you with respect and have more positivity and impact.  8 out of 10 employees constantly want to leave the company.   Customers are constantly annoyed and management won't listen.  Staff will be thrown under the bus. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Pretty easygoing and straightforward work, typical management structure. But do your job and all is fine.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Product knowledge is tedious, it takes a while to get to know the different items being delivered. Also, the routes are long at times, but once you become accustomed to it fine.

Not stressful pretty easy going atmosphere

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It ranges because of how dynamic it can be but overall it's easy once you develop a routine.

I was always learning something because I was always taking on more roles, without compensating. The employees that were on an even playing feild were so lovely to work with but management was a different story, that’s why there was constant revolving of new employees. The workplace culture was fun though, especially around Christmas time thanks to the USA part of the company. Benefits were decent once you pasted probation. 

I loved working at Grimco, I worked with a great group of people and loved my customers.  It was a busy working enviornment, a lot of turn around which was a little bit difficult as it wasn't like working at Mc Donald's where you are selling hamburgers, it was more technical.  So teaching new people was daunting but other than that it was a good place to work

Lots of heavy lifting, supervisor was very rude he doesn't have patience very moody don't have a role model act being a supervisor very unprofessional attitude to his team was very bad.

Not a normal review as my position was deleted when original employer (access imaging) was acquired by grimco. There were no female employees in the calgary branch that I reported to. Manager seemed ok. Laid off via phone call.. Product lines were good. Customers liked the company for the most part.

Managers are really nice, but leave you hanging at times.   Work is easy, and all the employees are great to work with but no job security.  American owned and operative. They seem to be heading in the wrong direction, business wise, from first in the industry, to customer's last option.

Too bad the company was acquired by the competitor.  This was the best team and company I had working in this field for over 20 years.  Would have been happy to retire with the company.  Had many support staff, and president of the company was also very attentive.  Best management team I've seen.

The work environment was friendly, with good pay and benefits. I enjoyed my time there.

I didn't find anything stressful while working at the company
