Relatively small workplace in the grand scheme of things. Tasks can start to feel mundane after a while, however that's any production line work. The company is consistently improving on many aspects including safety, wages and capacity. Coworkers are amazing people to work with. Only drawback is that due to being a smaller company, room for growth can feel limited. However, if you put in the effort to gain the knowledge and experience, you will have a fair chance when an opportunity arises. The hardest part of the job is when in certain areas, wearing the ppe required for certain tasks can get a bit warm. However the company is working on improving those areas and the workers there are a blast to work with and very friendly.

Did you work for P&G? Then you got a job! Are you willing to have a direction setting like a plastic bag in the wind? Then you are made for this job!
You like being constantly judged by an elitist group of former P&G employees? Then you will do fine!
Do you like companies that think buying you a pizza makes them incredible and obligates you to work harder? Then eat up. 

HFI Pyrotechnics is an unhealthy company to work for. I worked there and the laws that they are breaking due to improper ventilation are unbelievable. I met a few employees that have been poisoned due to this.
This company needs to be investigated into and by an outside company. There are to many health violations to name.

A very poor work experience    leaders are not trained for their position   promotions are based on friendships not on skill level    some upper management have no idea how to run a company

consistent work to be done, working on various projects as they emerge. Team was small and very easy to get along with. Communication was effective and consistent across the whole company

Enjoyed working there.  Good Lead hands who taught me a variety of skills whether in sub-assembly or final assembly of products.  Weekly meetings were nice for updates of our progress,

HFI is an excellent place to work. The work weeks are a steady 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday schedule with some opportunities for overtime. Great atmosphere and good management.

I love the family oriented environment, Most employees are very friendly. It is one of the last remaining companies in our area that offer a pension and benefits.                                                                                           

Extremely toxic work environment. Management wouldn’t listen to needs. I was constantly put in a position to fail. I was let go to make room for other Manpower temp workers.
