They will plan local pickups n deliveries on you all the time, to get paid for these pickups and deliveries you will be filling extra forms then chasing people to get authorization and then submitting them to accounting and then keep following up, their  pay structure will change without any notice, they will give you dedicated truck for first few weeks and then you will be moving your stuff around trucks, forced dispatch, they will force Canadian drivers to do US interstate work which is illegal if caught you will loose your visa fined or even jailed, unfair dispatch practices, some teams will always be favoured, editable electronic log will be provided and then you will be expected to edit log to get more work done than possible, dispatch will remind on various occasions that you have editable log book

I had a very good experience training and working at Hunter Express.
There are always things to do to keep your day going. I was able to work and train at a steady pace with no micro-managing.

Breaks and Lunches available at request and also the support you receive from the team.
- Dispatch programs were clear (attendance management, performance review)
- Promotions are happening from within where possible.
- Hunter is Investing in people and technology.

It's a gud company.owner and team member is also very gud but dispatch need to learn some manners thay shud understand the problems of drivers on road as well.when drivers are on the drop of location thay don't respond nicely on the phn u have to keep trying to get the load to comeback to the terminal some time they don't even answer their phn once thay find out it's about to get the trailer

Worst place to work. Was an owner operator . Got hired for dedicated run but didn’t got when started by saying lost the run. Put me on open board. Had a brand  new truck but still giving me very short hauls. Dispatchers are trained to lie . Pay rate always inconsistent, no notice of rate change. All the muslims are managers so they do racism with indians and hindus. Plz be aware .

Dishonest, poorly managed, unorganized. Daily changes leading to a very unstable working environment. Unrealistic expectations from the management/operations (will push drivers to work to/past legal regulations). Employees ever changing, frequently a new point of contract. Job description changes week to week.

Absolutely nothing ! They don’t treat drivers with respect !

Dispatchers will force you to work

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
All East Indian Drivers that wreck the Trailers !

Fast paced supportive learning environment. Staff within office are very friendly. Typical day is spent communicating with drivers and data entry, and border clearances.

Working with Hunter Express has provided a unique work experience wheredaily new stuff is being learned

Dealing with 100 + Employees and Suppliers is the hardest job here as employees have a very aggressive mentality

Dispatchers treated like animals. they are Harassed and bullied commonly.Low salary. Racist. Prophet language used. Not a good environment to work . Especially operation managers’s behaviour is in acceptable.

I was super impressed with this company, after reading into the course and how it relates into real world scenarios, I found the material highly valuable. 


I would definitely recommend this company for those who are looking to expand their knowledge in dispatching.
