Entered, maintained, and updated case information in computer and paper records, as required. Researched and resolved collection account discrepancies and troubleshooting related problems Responsible for active collection of amounts overdue on accounts. Processing of unpaid direct debits and returned cheques Investigation and resolution of un-referenced payments Achieved challenging service levels in all areas of responsibility Organised and took responsibility for managing own workload while working cooperatively and harmoniously in a team environment to meet key performance targets Analyzed information gathered by investigation and reported findings and recommendations.

Hydro Ottawa was great to work for. Work was always a fun place to be everyday. As a co-op student benefits were not available for me but I know they are excellent. There are always job opportunities within the company and they are always hiring various jobs.

The people are professional. Lots to learn. It's a positive work environment. Good work life balance. I would recommend this place of work to anyone. It's very technical. It can be challenging but there are always people willing to help. The success of the individual is the ultimate goal of the team.

Good overall pay package and work life balance.  The frustrations I have in there is that it's a porr office environment, outdated structure with little room for growth and there a disconnect throughout the company. 

I have learned so much at this company about the energy sector, playing an accountable role in a busy goal oriented team and the importance of engaging with your Community.

I have so much to say about this great company. I learnt all my skils by working under the apprenticeship Program there. I learnt how to climb poles in the back yard of the company.  They showed us how to operate a Radial Boom Derrick (RBD) with the over head distribution lines.

Very good work culture there, with very friendly people. The new building was great and provided a lot of collaboration space. I learned a lot on the job and my manager was incredibly helpful.

My experience was not representative of work at Hydro Ottawa or my life in general.  We were writing multiple proposals for funding under a federal government program.
