Nice Company and Manager(s); good training. 

Perform all security, loss prevention duties with professionalism and decorum. Patrol the assigned premises and adjacent areas in accordance to the Nova Scotia Protection of Private Property Act. Complete security reports in a precise, timely, clear and  professional manner. Maintain a properly ordered and neat legal notebook. Partake in specialized training in accordance to company policy and the Nova Scotia Private Investigators and Private Guards Act.

management is completely garbage.
the most important thing " they don't pay overtime after 48 hours" and u will never get an explanation of extra charges labelled as collections(not CPP, tax or EI) in every pay cheque.
you won't get any type of training which is not good as you are going to be a guard but u still have to pay for training in every pay cheque
no benefits. no job security, they will call you today and say we don't have any work from tomorrow.
this company is really good at taking advantage off their own employees.


Ownership and management are horrendous, pure politics all the time , they cut shifts when ever they want to save a dollar and International workers who have been put into positions of power (supervisors and mangers) will give any extra hours to there own if you know what I mean. Love the overall security job and most co workers are very pleasant and professional unlike some of the management and all of ownership 

I personally LOVED working for ISSA/ IATA. Good hours and easy work!

The Secure Delivery Driver position is VERY FAST paced job. 

Filing out paperwork, when picking up or delivering any type of; medicine/ narcotic/ walkers/ wheelchairs/ lab specimens etc., is a crucial and must be done in a timely manor.

Vehicle maintenance is also just as important! Especially during the winter season.

This is largely an exploitive operation. The business model is minimum wage - work people until they break and replace them quickly. If you're determined and loyal enough to stay for a while you'll end up constantly training new people while you still have to maintain your very busy schedule. This company pays no overtime and provides no benefits and mandates that you attend  2  annual functions without pay.

Always feeling like a number or just another body.  In first seven months with the company the owner and operator introduced himself to me in welcome on six different occasions and also offered me a job twice even though I was already working for him.

Terrible upper management, with little opportunity for a raise. Often overloaded with deliveries, and franticly being told what to do and drop everything at random times throughout the day. 
Days are always rushed and far too long.
I’ve heard the security guard side is decent. 

My day would start with checking emails, and voicemail and replying to them. My day's activities changed from day to day, depending if payroll had to be done, or inviocing etc. or what was on the go for that day.

It's good for experience but, 
meant to move on. 
That's about it
It is ok
It is ok just an average work space 
I learned basic security skills.

Work 10-12 hours a day making about $13.50/h 

The job is easy enough but fast-paced. 
Just driver around and delivery packages. Pretty straight forward. 

The people and management in my opinion were very nice. 

The pay tho is completely unacceptable.
