To start, no equipment has a proactive maintenance program and hasn't for a long time. Everything is old, worn out, broken, and limping along. But you have to work with it.   Submit reports to have things fixed, they're ignored or at least forgotten for a while unless it completely stops a machine or vehicle.

Safety is merely talked about. Right from the top, there is no accountability or "setting the example" of safety. Only in certain circumstances when the situation suits them, like corporate suits showing up, or to make someone they don't favor look bad, do they even touch on safety. Even then, they're not following all the rules themselves.

The company is focused constantly on maximizing production, and spending nothing on efficiency. But you're still doing a bad job with the lack of equipment/working equipment.

Setting records for production and shipping for months, good job have a free lunch. But then they will ask you why is everything a mess even though staffing levels are at an all time low?  Even though they just congratulated you on setting multiple records.  But that is your problem and we need to talk about how you aren't doing enough; even though you work daily overtime. A lot of overtime. In a physical job, with equipment that barely works.  

They'll also forget or intentionally not purchase certain basic supplies to make their budgetary bonuses for themselves.  Which also means harder work and more hours for you.  

If your manager forgets to put things in the schedule, which will happen multiple times per week, no problem. You'll stay late, or even later. They'll leave at 4pm when their shift is done, even though they're salaried. "I'm not paid to work extra time.", is what you're told as you work more overtime.  Which is strange, because that is exactly why people get salaried positions, so they fix things without incurring overtime.  

The production department has no accountability. There's some good people there but no accountability. If they make mistakes or don't do things, you have to make up for it. The company basically has to turn a blind eye to laziness in that department to keep even the worst employee on those brutal, understaffed, underpaid, continental shifts in the production.

No sick time, despite expecting constant long and extra hours. 

Low pay for what you do, even before all of the other stuff.

Very demanding work! Very little training, more like a swim or sink kinda thing. Very short staffed in the factory, and the turnover is crazy!
The people for the most of them that are there are amazing people and would help u so much but so short staffed nobody has time!
Management out front are amazing understanding people as well an know the problem just can't seem to get it fixed. Kinda sad cause I'm sure if they could it might turn into an ok place to work if some things got straightened out!

Nothing  at all very fast environment little to no training unreasonable demands

Everything is so in organized and people do not share information and some leaders are very rude and cross personal boundaries

Like walking into the gates of Babylon with nothing to survive

Worked for about 3 months here. Loved everything about it. Great work environment with peers to match. The only reason i quit was due to operating gas line alone for whole shifts. I and the workers i'd relieve from the end of their shift all agreed on this, causing workers to go 12 hours without a break and if you do, you are putting yourself behind when youre already having a hard time keeping up. If this issue was addressed i would go back in a heartbeat.

Don't pay enough to put up with the job, or the management

Everything mostly management micro managing

Horrible 
It's not the 50's or 60's anymore folks. Get with the times

The absolute worst picture of h e l l u can imagine

I've been working at the plant for a few years now. It can be rather fast paced at times but them chill and relaxed at others. The guys on the production floor are great to work with. Everyone is friendly and get along great. The Supervisors are awesome to work with and the maintenance guys are OK too.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Steady employment . Indoor and outdoor environments and good benefits.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If your shift ends up short handed.

Good people , good culture, steady employment.

Long hours, under staffed, low pay, low starting pay. Not enough training, not enough explanation. Good people on shift once your there long enough. Super high turnover rate of workers.

The people were amazing. Decent job. Could be better money 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The heat in the summer. Too much.
