The company is located in Fredericton NB and Saint John NB. Owners and management were great !!

My background was programming and I felt it was a poor fit for me. I would encourage anyone with networking background to definitely look into Innovatia !!!! :-)

Shifts were basically 10am - 6pm depending on the product supported. 

Salary was based on experience $30,000 to ~33,000 and there was a shared bonus system.

You would receive tickets through a Siebel system. You then send the client an email/phone call letting them know you will soon be in touch. Short of an entire call center being shut down, you will have time to research and investigate any issues. 

Not as pressured as an inbound phone call center !!! There is an opportunity to contact senior techs and get familiar with issues prior to troubleshooting live.

My day in all goes with talking to various customers and solving their issues. I also mentor the new joinees and as a senior member and a tech lead assist them with day to day work , process and technical work. 

I have learnt to work under stress and provide good results to end users and manage both escalations and irated and raged customers, I do understand the urgency and criticality of their eagerness to solve the problem and act my best to get the results.

I also mentor new and other team members ,I do understand their level of undersanding and deploy various examples to make them understand the technology.

I also read a lot of documents and various researches in this field to keep myslef updated when not involved in day to day work

In all I enjoy my work and learning newer technology

This company is basically disorganized and should actually consider using some of the remarkable technology that they are selling to improve their own business. Lack of training and managing of expectations creates a very negative culture to work within. Facts about this company are greatly overstated such as yearly revenue, number of employees and office locations. This is essentially a "Mom & Pop" organization that has out grown its style of management and business model. Expectations are unrealistic and management is weak.

Worst place I have ever worked. Felt they treat contractors terribly.  The senior manager was a control freak and gave me conflicting priorities and unclear direction.

Totally micromanaged.  I was trying to work with the subject matter expert of a large organization and he kept getting involved in things he knew nothing about and was very vague in his direction while contradicting what the client actually wanted. 

Timesheet system was confusing and I had to fill out 3 different forms.

Workplace has a high level of autonomy/trust from management. Great environment and staff however the salaries are not very competitive with others on the market. 

You will need to weight whether salary at another position or work life balance at innovatia is more important. You will need to push hard to prove your worth investing in moving into a lead/SME/management position.

A good span of time is provided as Training for new hires.

Not a bad place to work, friendly people. The CS1000 team did not have enough training or support from Avaya, but other teams seem to be better off from a training perspective. Ability to occasionally work from home as needed is a definite plus. Biggest complaint is salary is low (30-35k) and no real room for advancement.

Job consisted of doing corrections on training manuals. Work alone and management was in Canada. Working for this Company allow me to continue previous training within Nortel Networks. It was an 8 hour work day. The hardest part was reading some of the instructors writing

provided positive work environment. provided several month of training on how to maintain servers and troubleshoot Linux. the training was excellent  the reason I left was because I was offered a position at Earthlink to better provide for my Family

Just poor management with no skills 
No proper training
You would be expected to excel without proper training and help
Only good thing is schedule 
But you would be thrown under bus anytime
