Very poor experience due to management. Directors lack transparency: promises are not kept, communication constantly changes, and decisions are often contradictory from one day to the next. When these inconsistencies are brought up, management shows bad faith and shifts the blame onto employees.

Working conditions are difficult, especially during winter. Technicians are required to work in wind chills reaching -40°C as long as there is no snow, with little consideration for safety or employee well-being. Compensation is also far from competitive given the demands of the job.

The only positive aspect is the technicians themselves, who are professional, pleasant, and supportive of one another. Unfortunately, they receive little backing from management, which appears more focused on pleasing upper leadership than supporting field employees.

Not recommended for anyone seeking respectful management and fair working conditions.

I worked here for 3 years and stuck around because promises were made to me that were never fulfilled. Lack of followup training, communication and clear best practice policies. I had opportunities to advance my career with other companies that I politely declined as I was promised advancement with Insight. While they allow us to communicate and offer solutions, they were never acted upon or credit for ideas was never granted to the employee(s) who offered them OR credit was taken by management that ideas were presented to. 

They are the joke of the pest control industry. 

I really enjoyed my time working at Insight Pest Solutions. The team is very reachable and supportive, and we have bi-weekly meetings to ensure everyone stays updated and aligned. One of the standout aspects is that both the Service and Branch Managers have field experience, so they truly understand the challenges we face as employees. Their hands-on knowledge makes a big difference when it comes to providing guidance and addressing concerns. Overall, a positive work environment with a strong sense of collaboration!

I have started working with Insight Pest Solutions at the Ottawa/Gatineau branch about 3 year's and a half ago as a pest control technicien and climbed the ladder to Ottawa and Gatineau branch manager and now 1 years in the position of Junior Regional Manager overseeing the Quebec region operations.

Healthy workplace and treated with respect no matter what position you're working in ,  lots of opportunities for advancement and being part of a on growing business in Canada. 

I've been with the company for over a year now and, overall, I'm enjoying my experience. The management has been supportive and helpful, which I really appreciate. While the work can be repetitive at times and lacks excitement, there's something satisfying about the independence the job offers. I like being able to manage my tasks without constant oversight. Looking ahead, I see myself continuing in this role for the foreseeable future, though I do hope for more variety or fun in the work. It's been a good balance between stability and autonomy so far.

I would not suggest any one to this company. I have very bad experience working with this company in all areas like management, workload job security. They will hire you for summer time and this time they will squeeze you so hard, they don’t give time for break as well. All day around you just spray dangerous chemicals with minimal pay. They will lay off after summer. Sales guys sell all the work based on falls promise that’s why they are not consistent customers they have . They don’t have future. Good luck to the pople working for them…

I have never been so happy at a position in over 10 years of customer service work. Of course, it has its difficult moments with customers, but that’s expected in any position. The whole team is so helpful and so kind. They will go above and beyond to help train you, and make sure they are always available to answer any questions you have. You don’t feel like a fish in a shark pond at this company. They genuinely care you are happy and are able to do your job with no problems. 

Insight pest solutions is a great place to work. The management and team leaders are all very accepting and open people who will work with you and teach you how to grow in the company. Flexibility and understanding are very built into their team structure while still maintaining a positive and productive work flow and schedule. If you are thinking about a career in pest control insight would be a great place to work.

I have been working with Insight pest solutions since May 2023. When I joined I didn’t know about pests and I used to scare from all house pests but my managers they trained me very well. They trained me how to handle pest equipments and materials. Also got training about how to serve a customer, etiquettes about work place. I love this company and all management.
