The work itself can be interesting and fun at times depending on the department you end up working for. However, the management treat employees like property as opposed to people. If you are sick or have a family emergency, they treat it like you're skipping work. If you book an appointment for the dentist or doctor, and the time off is approved, but end up needing a follow up appointment at a later date, the second time off request can end up being denied even if its a month later. They also don't pay any of their employees for the work they do. They moved me to a different department after 4 months and I had to learn how to MIG weld aluminum but got no raise or recognition for learning an entirely new department and skill. They expect the world and extra from employees but offer no real reason to strive to do any more than the job you do because they never offer raises for employee skill or going the extra mile.

Management sucks project manager is a dillweed then all the way down to lead hands they been there to long. Dinosaurs time to retire and let new generation take over. No room for advancement unless your family...bounuses were great jake vanseter treats his employees good...the rest of them are useless..lots of weekend work and 10hr days I lived in that building...on the upside there was many cool projects police vehicles, firetrucks, bomb disposal...lots of aluminum welding very toxic..ummm

Very helpful place to learn and build your skills, but unfortunately no real opportunity to become highly qualified or certified. 

Good hard working team of employees. Host BBQ days in the summer. hardest part of the job was time management. Best part was the variety of work and interesting projects that were built.

 While here i also read CAD drawings. Learned how to MIG and TIG weld Aluminum and Steel. I also learned how to fabricate while perusing my electrical apprenticeship.

I would fabricate steal and aluminum for truck/trailer frames, read blueprints and weld it all together. I learned how to weld aluminum and manage my day accordingly. Management was good, they were there for the employees and made sure you got proper training. The co-workers all got along and would provide help if needed. Hardest part would be  flipping the frames to weld the other side and being to much of a perfectionist. The most enjoyable part of the day would be the completion of a frame and starting a new one.

A typical day a work involves cutting aluminum material for the door builders. 
we learned how to install roll up doors, barn doors, compartment doors on van bodies and trailers.
Management was always there to assist with any concerns you may have and your co workers were always  there to give a working hand.
hard part of job was working with stainless steel.
The most enjoy part of the job was seeing a unit completed from start to finish.

I enjoyed my time working front desk reception for ITB (BC) I have been there for over two years and am only moving on due to change of career. 
Once you learn the role and your duties it is a very comfortable and friendly workplace, there is mutual respect amongst the employees and a positive environment with great values. 




What is the best part of working at the company?
Very accommodating compaby to work for. You are not just another number.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Weather or not you would disappoint You boss. I have zero conplaints 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Relaxed friendly. there is always something to keep you busy never a dull moment

Stay away from this place unless you want to show up and dog it all day and get away with it then this is the place for you. Managment doesnt exist and is a complete joke. Only time you see managment is maybe in the morning for a few minutes and at around 3:20 till 3:30 they will show up to move some trucks around. 90% of the office is either related or go to the same church.

I learned a lot here. Lots of great friendly coworkers. Not good for an apprenticeship they would not let me go to school at the agreed upon time because they were busy. Really interesting projects. Pay was bad but I learned lots. 

Total toxic work environment. Might be ok for a first job if you want to learn on the companies dime or for someone ready to retire but I wouldn’t make it a career here. Unless your friends family or faith there is no advancement opportunity and the pay scale is significantly less than average
