IntouchCX

IntouchCX is overall an alright place to work IF it is your first job. It will teach you lots about how not to run an employee-outsourcing company, and also how to support a team of co-workers very well, if you connect with who matters most, and does the most hard work (L2s and Team Leaders, usually the most supportive people on the production floor). 

If you start in a position of leadership, expect to face a lot of challenges relative to your skill level in that position. Hopefully you have more skill in a people-based company than the current leadership roles do. It would improve the company a lot, and maybe the employees would stay for longer than an average of 3 months.

When I started as a Technical Support Advisor, I was pleased to know that the trainers actually knew what they were doing. Perhaps they had experience with medium-sized groups of people. We had activities in training that were engaging and challenged us to think about what came next. They were fast-paced activities that felt more like high school or university than a job, and team building was legitimately fun. The lockers they had assigned us at the time were not the best. They are still not the best. As my training went on, I realized a lot of the employees do not actually care about how they do. They just need to sound like they are always in the right on calls so they do not get marked down for performance.

In a typical day at IntouchCX, you will:

Step 1: Get to work early, and then sit down at a random desk that you are not assigned, because somebody else took yours. So you find a new desk to work at that doesn’t have a broken, squeaky chair. 

Step 2: Next, you will determine if the app updater software on your computer has broken or not by trying to launch it. If it has broken, the proprietary updater software created by the geniuses at IntouchCX will not launch and instead immediately crash on opening. If this happens, repeat step 1 until you find a working computer, or alternatively, ask someone on the proprietary chatting app, because somehow, they are usually more knowledgeable and less lazy than IT.

Step 3: Finally find a computer with a good chair and working, updated software. This is extremely hard to do, and takes years of mastery.

Step 4: Log into the IVR software, and realize that you have now been late 1 hour trying to find a working computer, which has subtracted 3 points from your Social Cred- I mean… Superpunch Score.

Step 5: Cry internally (or sometimes externally) as you change your IVR status to be able to take calls.

Step 6: Get insulted for “not knowing what you are doing”, and then asked to escalate the call to your “Supervisor”, bringing an important statistic down.

Step 7: Take 2 hours of VTO (Voluntary Time Off), taking off 2 hours of your pay, and sit in the lunch room blankly staring at the magical runes carved into the lunch table at the back of the room, second from the right.

Step 8: Get up to buy a snack from the self-serve vending machine. Your favourite, a surprisingly cheap energy drink that tastes surprisingly good. The total comes out to be twenty dollars and you end up just putting your drink back.

Step 9: Try to communicate to “normal” people for the rest of your shift that they need to know their email to reset their password.

Step 10: Go home and sleep for 6 hours before your next day. You got moved to the evening shift due to an increase in quitting employees.

(Repeat steps 1-10 until suicidal)

At IntouchCX, the hardest part of working here is showing up and seeing the despair in your own eyes as you wash your hands after going for your 4-minute slotted bathroom break. 

Here, everything comes down to a statistic. If you encounter an irate customer who wishes to ruin your job for no reason other than them being unnecessarily angry at their device, your most important statistic will go down, and you will be treated differently. You will have less opportunities open up for you in the future and unfortunately you will ultimately regret your decision of ever working for this company.

The management, particularly when it comes to OMs and HR, is so bad that it’s not barely worth trying to communicate with them.

There are safety issues that I experienced in the buildings, which frequently experience bed bug problems which are subsequently then downplayed by management.

It’s nearly impossible to reach anyone to discuss anything of importance - you are constantly being subjected to the consequences of management being incapable of communicating with each other.

Changes to your schedule, getting your attendance points fixed can be such a battle it’s hardly worth fighting it. 

In terms of taking calls and handling customers, it’s very fast-paced and there’s an issue with inadequate support.

I would suggest looking elsewhere for a job. I started to speak with my therapist about my work stress and they said they’d heard this place was rough (back when it was still known as 24/7 Intouch) and have heard from friends in recruitment that they are having issues retaining employees and getting people to bite on their job postings.

Should tell you a lot about how bad it is to work there. I would rather work in fast-food again

I recently interviewed for a position at this company and felt the experience did not align with the values of fairness, respect, or open communication.

Despite coming prepared and offering relevant answers, I felt dismissed, interrupted, and discouraged from expressing myself freely. The process felt more focused on scripted responses than genuine understanding of the candidate’s skills or experience. It wasn’t about communication — it was about compliance.

The interview environment lacked inclusivity in practice. There was a strong sense of judgment, ego, and control from the recruiting side. You are expected to say exactly what they want to hear, not speak from real experience. There was no space for dialogue, only obedience.

While the job itself may not be a scam, the pay structure doesn’t reflect the workload or expectations. Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and disempowering.

If you value growth, respect, and honest two-way communication, this may not be the environment you’re looking for.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is no upside to working here. 

- Low pay

- insanely high stress ( i began to get acne again shortly after starting here)

- management sees you as a statistic and if you are not meeting their strict quota, then you will be put on an "action plan" to "fix" you

- rather work at walmart or mcdonalds than work at IntouchCX. 

- The short breaks are terrible, and if you are even 1 minute over your break you are punished

The overall environment is super stressful. Being in the call centre and just sitting there as you contemplate if you would rather be jobless than work in that place

The work environment is full of so many people and yet you are part of no team, you are alone.

A typical day in customer care involves managing diverse customer interactions via phone, email, or chat, resolving issues, and providing information. Key learnings include effective communication, problem-solving, and empathy. Good management is characterized by clear communication, support, and realistic goal-setting. A positive workplace culture values teamwork, respect, and collaboration, fostering an environment where employees feel motivated. The hardest part of the job is handling high-pressure situations, such as managing irate customers or resolving complex issues under tight deadlines. Conversely, the most enjoyable aspect is the satisfaction of resolving customer issues and receiving positive feedback. Helping customers and making a tangible impact on their experience is highly rewarding.

There was no outbound sales, so it was much better than most call centers.  Instead you took inbound support calls. But it still wasn't a good job.

Pay is just barely above minimum wage.

Extreme micro-management, you had to make sure to follow a prescribed set of steps beginning with the "Assure Statement" (you had to tell the customer you could help them even if you had no clue how to deal with their case).   Escalating cases to Tier 2 was strongly discouraged, you were expected to waste the customers time while you searched the knowledge base for the answer to their problem.  And if you took too long for a bathroom break you were in trouble.

Mandatory training courses were terrible.  They wasted your time using the Socratic Method instead of just telling you what you needed to know.

If you are working at a high-pressure sales call center, this is a step up, but otherwise I would not recommend it.



It all started when IntouchCX acquired the company I was working for. Prior to the transition, the management style was exemplary—supportive, transparent, and employee-focused. Unfortunately, this changed drastically under the new leadership, which has prioritized profit over people.
Our direct supervisor became increasingly unavailable, and we received no assistance with basic operational issues such as computer malfunctions or vacation requests. Communication was minimal, and support was virtually nonexistent.
Moreover, the managerial approach turned punitive and arbitrary. Employees were subjected to unreasonable demands and excessive scrutiny, including minute-by-minute monitoring of absences. If someone requested ten minutes off, they were expected to use only five. This created a climate of distrust and anxiety, severely impacting morale and productivity.


There is a family feel to this company. Accessible management. I am just blown away by the installations. 

Investing heavily in making comfortable work spaces with a juvenile and relaxed atmosphere is important to the owners who believe that happy employees perform better.

As part of its investment in people, Intouch also offers a lot of opportunities for growth.

Navigating a changing structure is the most challenging part of the job. You need to work on relationships constantly. Communication and update processes would be formalized within the organization.

There are times when I see people spending almost all their day in meetings, which is somewhat unproductive and can be stressful.

Here, you'll work a lot and learn even more, but you'll enjoy it all.


Well, I had an awesome time engaging with customers and co-workers. The workplace culture and co-workers are great but the work-life balance is not so great. I must say the training and Grad bay experiences are superb but once you hit production, you are more or less on your own with only the provided resources to help you navigate. They kept changing supervisors which didn't help to effect stability. The two female supervisors I had were not very responsive or empathetic but were only interested in coaching and driving you to make sales.  However, the two male supervisors I had briefly were excellent. Always ready to help, empathetic and genuinely cared for the general wellbeing and productivity of people in their charge. One other thing I need to mention is the point system used to control attendance and punctuality. They don't care if you need time off to attend to family emergency, your points take a battery.

You need to work from home and they will provide all the equipments and two weeks intensive training so that you are good on the job.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is a assesment after 2 weeks of training which has 50 question and one hour to finish that you need to achieve 80% marks in that in order to graduate from training to get on to the work there are only two attempts.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment of the company is really good and people enjoy working here.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
They give you into the half hours of shift which is work from home once you have your shift then you just need to log in and follow the work you get to paid breaks and one unpaid lunch which is 30 minutes.
