Have a company house to live in, table tennis in the house, everyone is happy to know each other, and have fun together. In work we share our ideas, working in a safe condition, and everyone knows what they are doing to do and what they gonna need. Company always order the materials that needed ahead of time, very productive and safe. Outside of work company also provide gas allowance and meal allowance, every two weeks we have company-provided lunch and dinner.

Punctuality is very important as it should be at every job.  Management was very fair and demanding at the same time.

I highly recommend JMR to any prospective employees.  I would still be working with them if it were not for personal family issues.  I really miss working with them.

There was nothing difficult to accomplish at the job site for a person with experience and knowledge.. Management was very helpful teaching people who didn't fully understand how to accomplish a specified task.

The people there are great, nice, willing to help you learn. The owner is an old grumpy man who yells and can’t appreciate anyone. 
Most of the workers sit there and pretend to have something to do for a large chunk of the day. 
If you want a job to pass the time work here. But remember you’ll hear ALOT of yelling, you’ll never be thanked by the owner. 

I worked here for about three years. You can be told the night before that you are going out of town for 20 days at a time with no time to get ready or pack. No one is valued as an employee. The employer feels you should be thanking him for employing you. There is a lot of workplace drama and gossip. Not many people are willing to help you succeed or teach you.

Very clicky, the only ones to get a head have knee pads on. You spend your life in terrible living conditions on the road. The “owner” will say “I wouldn’t put you guys in a hotel where I wouldn’t stay”. Sure he’ll stay there, in the prime minister’s suite. While you are staying in the basement, with the roaches and bed bugs. I can go for days. 

Some of the employees aren’t the best but overall if you keep your head down and keep working you can make money and have consistent work. You will learn a lot about plumbing and I mean A LOT. Be prepared to be thrown to the wolves and learn fast. This is a good thing if you have a good head in your shoulders.

Good money OT always available but being out of town takes its toll on personal life. Company expects family to come after work. Time off is a nightmare in summer to get off want requests in March but who has a crystal ball? Every share holder acts like your boss and they battle each other behind the scenes over who the top guy is.

I received exactly everything I was promised during the interview. They offer interesting projects with a lot of great employees.
   Unfortunately the out of town component was not for me anymore, but local work could be enough to draw me back

Besides the travel, it's been pretty good.

Travel is only paid 1 way.

Usually good crews and foreman.

Benefits are pretty good, but lack in certain areas (like Optical)

Great company to work for if you want commercial construction experience. They pay very well with great benefits. There's always the possibility of traveling, did not work for me personally.
