Travel issues due to no fault of JDS.

My experience with JDS has been good, they don't treat you like a number.

Bully for a supervisor. Setting people up to fail and then getting mad at you.

Get as many bodies to work so they can make money

Very stressful free enviromet and enjoyable to be there every day

Toxic working culture and very inexperienced management. Management only push safety when it suits them. Very little space for progression based on technical and people skills. Lots of people leaving the company because of this. Worst place I have ever worked.



The travel pay they offer they don't tell you is paid at minimum wage. Benefits are terrible and no short term disability.  Don't follow through on their terms or promises. No prospects for advancement. The comraderie there is very two faced both with co workers and management. Very deceitful and very negative 

Management lies about everything. Not a good place to work. Management is worst with stupid rules and mandates. Lack of career development. Inflexible work environment. I would stay as far away from this company as you can. Terrible employer!

Best company to work with. Staff and management are amazing. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Travel to remote places but it’s was an amazing experience.

Enjoyed working with the site team as well as all the offsite support, such as the engineering & procurement teams. First project in the Yukon and in the gold mining industry, felt like a successful job.

Treated poorly by management. No growth within the company. Hard to progress in career. Can be hard to move up the ladder, limited roles. Pay reasonable but not very competitive.
