This is one of the worst companies you will ever work for. In the beginning its ok and they treat you right. As time goes on they lie and deceive you. Dont expect a pay raise unless you want to go to your grave at JVF because that's how long it will take for a promotion or a raise! Actual workers in the company work very hard and IMHO they are underpayed. This place should become unionized so workers can get payed a fair wage for their efforts. they do not like the truth. Always looking for temp workers and cheap rates rather then hire fulltime at higher wage brackets. The HR department is amateurish at best. No people skills, making inappropriate comments. Certain individuals in management roles have no class, no office etiquette, rude and abrasive and no people skills either. These are the weeds they need to eliminate for the company to prosper. I do not recommend this place for employment.

In Johnvince, I am a night shift from 3:30pm to 11;30pm. I have learned how to put the labels in the products and a slight learning on operating a machine. I have learned how to manage my time. The co-workers there are very friendly, it's just that our salary is not that good and has no benefits. But overall, it's enjoyable and fun. The hardest part of the job is when I operated a machine. The most enjoyable part of the job is using the computer and printing the labels of the food products.

Staring work at 7:15am and finishes at 4pm, 2 breaks, first break duration is 15 minutes and the second (lunch) is  30 minutes. What i have learned from there is that how hard actually being a production worker and how fast paced it was, considering how long i had to be constantly moving. I am not really connected to the management since I got in through OneSource Business agency. The hardest part of the job is how tiring it is physically and how fast paced it is. The most enjoyable part if the job is being paid every week.

I am Hard work  People and easy to get along with and sometimes there’s a stressful times especially when it comes at the end of the month there’s a call that inventory  of the product, but  sometimes have time to relaxes also.We need to enjoy our work so we will not fell the hard work load so we need to love what we are doing every single day in our life.

As a worker I was highly trained to become a productive worker,how to manage time,flexible to any types of job ,we have a team work doing our duties to be able to produce more products and finish the job perfectly and accomplished the job quickly on time.Our company gives us discounts in their store and pleasures during holidays,like having a competition for bowling,singing and dancing after our work.

Worked with great managers and supervisors. Can be stressful as mostly everything in the store are code related. Customers can be very rude but overall a great place to work. Management could be better. You see them and fear is the first thing that comes to mind. Very cheap. No annual raises are provided to lower staff. Looked down upon

A typical day consists of organizing the store, assisting customers, cleaning acrylic bins, and replenishing products. Management is disorganized and unprofessional. The job is fairly easy but the company does not provide you with proper employee training besides WHMIS. The most enjoyable part of the job is your coworkers and the friendships you build.

Very difficult place every to work.  The pay is way below industry standards, the management team can be very rude and abusive. Everyone looks out for themselves and teamwork is not a thing that is practised. Had to beg on my knees for a raise and was told not now which became never, I am very happy not to be working  thier anymore.

The co-workers are great and interactive, the work is pretty easy to do and basic. Sometimes racism is perceived and favoritism. The hard part is closing on the weekend on a busy day or closing by yourself on a weekday when it is busy. The enjoyable part is the friendly co-workers.

Great place for working, good staff.

Good place to work, with professional and skilled employees.

Work/life balance is good, with the typical peaks and valleys.

The min goal there is to keep spinning the wheel, and not trying anything innovative.
