In my personal opinion, the workplace should have such kind of environment where you want to go everyday. I would like to have a very friendly relationship with all my co workers like a family member so that we could achieve our goals in a timely manner and also flourish ourselves with the progress of our organization. After all, its all about team work and time management.

Because of the difficult relationship with the Client, the Maintenance Management and Supervision had a hard time supporting certain departments. 

The culture that has been maintained is that of reactive management. Put ALL the liability on the frontline workers and Foremen so that when things go wrong, they are unaccountable.

I am sure other sites are better, but this one is run super lean, loading responsibility on the bottom, dis-organized and very poor communication.

We worked 10 hours per day, 7 days of the week with Saturdays and Sundays being overtime. I learned a lot about rigging that I didn't know as well as bolt up procedures. Management was very well organized and knew what was going on. Coworkers were great, they taught me a lot of new skills in my trade. The job wasn't overly hard in any aspect it was all a steady paced work environment giving you the time needed to pick up on things.

At CFL with Jacobs as the mechanical maintenance contractor, you can't really find a better team of people, the safety culture, work ethic and compassion for everyone makes you feel like more then a team.  It's my favourite place to work when outages occur. I wish I could work at a place like that for the rest of my career.

Enjoyed my first experience in Alberta, and I believe that Jacobs Industrial helped with that. They were a very good company to work for and from a management side  I had little problems with them. Of course when you work so far away from home, it can be hard, but the camps provided and the friendly atmosphere help me a lot.

I am looking for a career in a  great company, I am a hard worker that's eager to learn. I have multiple skills and abilities. I learn quick and am hoping that I can get the chance to grow within your company. I am ticketed for many site jobs as well as have experience in customer service. I enjoy getting the job done and seeing the end result of my work.

great place to work with huge emphasis on safety.  friendly staff and office personnel. easily approached management. continuously challenging work environment dealing with a "live" plant

Was a good job at the time.  quit disorganized very little communication from management. Always a battle between different trades.  Some of the time frames provided where not realistic but the work still had to be done even if it was out of sequance.

jacobs is a irving owned company and its a great place to work, great people ,formans are great will help u out with anything to make the job easier, every friday they provide tim hortons coffee and muffins..best place in the city to work.

they are very committed to safety and will go the distance to keep you on board if you show some initiative. they have lots of good work in the industrial sector, mainly fort Mac area in the oilsands
