My position at Jamesway was during the time of Marmon ownership.
It provided excellent training, and I thoroghly enjoyed having a great manager, and co-workers.

Perhaps the most challenging part of the job was the transition from great economic times to one of downsizing.

Pay is very good.  Job is pretty easy. The ppl are old school and don't like change bunch of back stabbing.  Union shop lots of Favoritism.When company is busy you work but can be laid off for months even years.

You have a very good chance of not being where you posted for fifty percent of the time if not more

It is a very disorganized Management and I would never go back. I resigned after a year of disagrements and false hopes from management.                                                                                                                                                  

A company that is constantly pretending to treat all divisions equally but has one criteria for Europe and a totally different one for the rest of the company.  Allegiance is more important than competence. 

In the beginning it was to catch up on a lot of the backlogged stuff in order to fix it and get things back in balance. Creating journal entries, filing, input invoices by matching with receiving. 

~ Produced hatchery building layouts for sales/customers
	  ~ Produced detail drawings for HVAC ventilation and piping
	  ~ Multitasking, team work, customer service
	  ~ Worked with customers via phone and email

The people I work with are agreeable and helpful.  Being new in a company can be difficult.  Jamesway employees made me feel welcome and included.  It has been a positive work experience.

Average day starts at 8:00 am and could go till 6:00 pm. Mid level management approachable and easy to work with, but upper level is fractured and rudderless. Most enjoyable is working with the team on the floor.

They expect you to be away from home for 6 weeks at a time. then 1 week home . So 8 weeks home a year and 50 000 per year with no chance of pay increase.
