Jamie's Italian is a restaurant that can teach you so much about food. The passion for food at the the establishment is unreal and I've learned so much about food from the restaurant. The management team is always positive at Jamies by ensuring our team is on their "A" game to be sure our staff is on our feet at all times and is aware with our surrounding so that the restaurant runs smoothly. King St food company has definitely taught me a lot about food knowledge and how to give the most efficient service. I surely would like to carry this experience along with me and move forward with in Downtown Toronto.

Working at Jamie's was not hard, but It was very tiring. Every shift is 8 hours long standing for the whole shift, walking around, lifting heavy things. Most of the time, I am just washing dishes along with another dishwasher. I learned a lot of kitchen work and how to work in a very fast-paced environment. Management was okay, although there are times where I am working by myself which I would say the hardest part of the job is. The most enjoyable part was the people, I got along really well with my co-workers and I would say became good friends with them.

Great Co-workers, a constant rotation of managers (some great, some really, really bad), and customers were sometimes awful, but that is the nature of the business. Really fantastic support from fellow co-workers. 

Very friendly people, always something to do, hardest part of the job is being understaff on a busy day. the most enjoyable is being with friendly staff

staff are great food is good but the overall work experience is just not for me the most enjoyable part is learning how to prep and work the line and make my skills sharper and faster

Everyone is very kind and helpful. The job is very straight forward. Is doesn't get very busy at times so they let us go early sometimes. The tips are nice.
