I did have a massive work load and to be honest it was a lot to deal with. I did constantly work over my regular hours to keep things going. But the work was meaningful. I cared, my coworkers cared. It was nice to work in an organization where everyone believed in what we were doing. 
I was given so many opportunities to learn, to lead and to grow. Even though Jays Care is in a the midst of a significant transition, I can say I do not for a second regret working there at all. Even if its just a contract, its a great opportunity to bolster your skills, network and resume. 
There are some instances of othering and some lack of inclusion if you don't get in with the crowd right away. It can be a rough place to start but give it time, it does improve to something amazing. 

Overall experience was amazing. Management and staff were there to help you and support you do your job effectively. Management were always open to any discussion in reference to you job

There is no culture and is a day camp ran by a group of young kids. No leadership or opportunity for growth here. Lots of pressure put on all the teams but no support from upper management. 

Good to have the name on your resume but not worth the awful experience you’ll endure.

If you love baseball, this is a perfect job for you. You get paid to be at every Jays home game, and you get to interact with some very interesting fans. The pay is decent, and the supervisors are pretty chill. They might be hiring people again around July or August, so be ready!

I loved working for Jays Care under a contract type, amazing upper management team who always lent a helping hand when needed, no matter the situation that might have arise they were there for assistance they knew exactly what to do and how to execute the situation.

Super fun job if you like working with kids. You’re basically getting paid to play games. Being an activity leader can be a bit challenging as you always have to come up with new activities every week and can be a little bit overwhelming to keep up with but overall really fun work environment and job. 

Excellent people to work with. 
helping kids get lunch, organizing game equipment, making sure everyone is in their correct areas. 
hardest part of the job... there was no challenges for me.
most enjoyable part was being around everyone, and getting to meet actual blue jay players.

You become part of a team that changes children lives for the better. The management always have your back and it feels like a family. Although the job wasn't easy, they were there to support you every step of the way.

In this seasonal role, expectations were clearly communicated and the environment was collaborative and supportive. Compensation is fair with the opportunity to achieve team targets. 

really awesome opportunity to work with a diverse group of youth and help youth grow as leaders through baseball. Amazing leadership team that aimed to prepare their staff for future opportunities within jaycare and outside of it as well.
