Everyday you show up to work, you expect to get pressured by the owners and manager to increase sales. You will not make a single cent in commission since the company will not pay you a single dime. The work environment is extremely negative. There is no opportunity to move up in the company. You will be stuck in the same position for the rest of your life. 

There is absolutely no culture where you can participate in activities with your peers. 
When upper management come in to visit your store they do not make any attempt to get to know you. 
Some of the store managers are so insecure that they prevent you from having any interaction with upper management. 
You must be absolutely proactive to get ahead with Jordans.

Working at Jordans Flooring has been a good overall experience. The team is collaborative and supportive, and the company provides opportunities to develop sales and customer service skills. Helping customers choose flooring that suits their needs is fulfilling, and the work environment is generally positive. That said, there’s room for improvement in areas like management processes and communication. 

I really enjoyed my time at Jordans and would still be there if I didn't move away.  Great culture with very friendly coworkers and management.  If you put in the effort, you can hit bonuses pretty consistently.  Nice to work in a family company where you are not just a number.

If you are a 50 year old man you will fit in here. Otherwise, don't apply. Women are called love and sweetie by management instead of their name and head office is fixed on the bottom line instead of client care and company culture. 
One of the worst work environments I have ever been a part of.

As a 20 year + employee all I can say is it's a good place to work. One of the few family owned and operated companies left. Hard work and effort is rewarded and there is opportunity for advancement.Always trying to do the right and ethical thing with staff and customers.

If you are not involved in sales, you will not matter to management.
Understaffed and way overworked. I could not find good warehouse support with fork-lift experience, for the low wage set by the company. The work place culture is very depressing.

Need to set rules for ethics and enforced without prejudice. Supervisors that do not follow a strict rule of conduct and fail to follow guidelines as set up by upper management must have their employment terminated.

Sky is the limit on your earning potential. The learning curve is a bit steep, but the company works with you to ensure you aquire the right skills to succeed. Previous sales experiance will be an asset, as well as the ability to read a tape measure and use a scale ruler.

There we're little to no systems in place during my employment, all shipping and receiving/warehouse management was done by pen and paper then copied onto an bad computer program, good staff was very hard to find and we always had a daily problem.
