Typical day at work was taking phone calls, answering live chats as well as greeting/assisting customers in person.

This all sounds pretty simple but because of management and ownership it was extremely and unnecessarily difficult and super stressful. You're expected to answer questions and sell products without the resources or support to actually do so.

The photos and information on the website was either super misleading, or non existent. There were countless products that there simply were no photos provided and/or samples available. Turnaround times were ridiculous and also misleading. This made inspiring customer confidence exceedingly difficult.

Additionally, pretty much week to week or sometimes day to day management would change what you could say and show to customers. They were super shady and secretive about random things. Transparency and honesty with customers was essentially discouraged.

Orders were consistently late and/or messed up with no regard for the customer. Customers were left in the dark until they called or chatted in to complain. 

Super high level of quality control cases that were often dealt with poorly.  A lot of the time, products were shoved out the door just to simply meet the deadline and the attitude was we'll just wait until the customer complains. 

Customers were often very angry and with good reason. Then it's up to you to deal with it, without the ability to be transparent or really decide things on your own.

Terrible communication and so much micromanaging. They have no trust or respect for their employees and do not value their input or judgment. You have to go to a manager for practically everything, and sometimes it takes hours for them to get back to you. Meanwhile you're expected to resolve tickets in less than a minute.

The only good thing about working for Jukebox was the overall team and the manager of the Toronto office. He would try so hard to support his team only to be held back by management/ownership in Vancouver head office.

A couple other perks were: one free lunch per month, some pretty decent company outings and coffee and snacks in the office. However these perks are not worth your sacrificing your soul/mental health.

The working environment at Jukebox is far from good. Workers here are constantly quitting due to the low quality working conditions.

The factory floor is messy and very loud with the sound of machines. While it may appear spacious at first glance, it often feels cramped or poorly organized, with little attention given to comfort or aesthetics. The space lacks the cleanliness one might expect, and the design doesn’t offer the relaxed or pleasant atmosphere that’s typical in other industries. The lunch area, though large, is not always well-maintained, and the amenities like coffee, tea, and snacks are often in short supply. The lack of care for plants and flowers further contributes to the sterile, uninspiring environment that doesn’t make for an enjoyable break time.

I've never felt proud or happy about a full day's work here. While some colleagues may offer help, there is often a lack of communication or sharing of knowledge, making it harder to learn or grow in the role. The managers are distant and rarely provides constructive feedback, making it harder to feel connected or supported. The work in the letterpress department can be monotonous and stressful, with many challenges that often feel insurmountable. Rather than a sense of accomplishment, many of the tasks leave a feeling of frustration or exhaustion. Hard work is rewarded with criticism instead of appreciation.

Leaving to work for another print company made me realize how good things could be.

During my stay at Jukebox Print, I found it extremely hard to talk to any management. No employee reviews. No contact. Nothing. I found there was the absolute bare bones communication going on between the entire work place. 

Within my first week at Jukebox, I found it quite obvious that most people are cliqued up. Very hard to make friends as people aren’t too friendly and I don’t blame them for having a bad attitude. If your management is awful then you’re not going to be excited to work. 

I felt like I was a lab rat placed under a microscope every day. I found simply walking into work every morning was extremely stressful. You always seem to be picking up a lot of pieces from the previous day instead of having a fresh new start. It brings almost a “sweat-shop” vibe with the amount of single-handed work you will have to do with little pay you’re getting.

You will always be rushed with whatever you are doing which leaves a lot of room for company mistakes. I found a lot of orders were getting free re-runs as the management/owner doesn’t care too much about customer service as they have their hands in twenty different buckets, instead of focusing on the parts of the company that are failing.

Quantity over quality, I guess. 

When applying, simply know this: I promise you, you are not as low as you think you are. No matter how badly you need money, you can do better than this. This is not the job for you.

And if you think monthly free lunches will shadow all these problems, then by all means, apply away.

This often led to confusion and delays, as team members weren't always aligned on expectations or project timelines. It created a chaotic atmosphere, and I often felt like I was left scrambling to figure out what needed to be done, only to have things change at the last minute.

Additionally, the management team seemed disconnected from the day-to-day realities of the employees. There was a noticeable gap between leadership and staff, which made it hard to feel supported or understood. Feedback was often ignored or dismissed, and when it was acknowledged, it didn’t always lead to meaningful change.

The company culture was also a bit lackluster. While there was an emphasis on creativity, it sometimes felt like there was a lack of respect for work-life balance. I often found myself working longer hours than I anticipated, and while overtime wasn't necessarily expected, there was a subtle pressure to stay late and push through deadlines. This didn’t contribute to a healthy work environment and felt like a recurring issue across different teams.

Overall, while Jukebox Print may offer great products to its customers, the internal culture and management practices could use some improvement. I think they would benefit from a more structured approach to communication, better leadership support, and a stronger focus on employee well-being.

I've worked here long enough to know that I wouldn't recommend working here to anyone. All the wages here are low and any promise of that changing is not to be trusted. The average work day is very stressful, and physically exhausting. There is no consideration or thought put into the workflow, jobs, responsibilities, or overall structure to an average day. Management doesn't seem to have a grasp on how to get through a normal working day without something going wrong.

I felt deceived while working here. Mainly because the success of the business and the effort you put forth as an employee doesn't benefit you, even if you work tirelessly. After many years of consistent work I never felt valued here. 

The management treats employees differently. Some get special treatment, others are ordered around like personal assistants, and many are fully ignored. You don't really feel like an employee when you work here. You feel temporary or disposable.
The hardest part of the job is trying to get fair pay. There's really no flexibility or redeeming aspects to working here and I truly would warn people to steer clear.

Working here feels strange because it seems like they want to promote a creative or collaborative work environment; but it the company isn't anything like that. Even with the cartoon murals and bright colours - there are very few creative employees working here and almost everyone does basic labor. The most challenging aspect of the daily work here is managing the relentless demands and expectations of the CEO that have nothing to do with your role or responsibilities. There's an expectation that you will drop anything you're working on to fulfill his request - while still finishing your long list of regular duties.

If your job is to operate a digital print machine, you will also be expected to handle a lot of odd tasks like garbage removal and cleaning bathrooms on a regular basis.

This is a really rag-tag, chaotic and disorganized place to work where the reputation of how the company appears is more important than how well the employees are treated. I had some good days here but overall the stuff you deal with isn't worth what they pay you.

Good working environment in Jukebox .  People from different countries working here are all nice , friendly and respectful. Co-workers from different departments help others.

The place is nice , wide , clean and designed not just like a normal printing industry. Large lunch area with coffee , tea, snacks also flowers and green plants really make my break time very comfortable and relaxed.  

I am proud to be one of the letterpress member. our team members kindly sharing their experience and knowledge to make other members growing faster . The manager is friendly and easy to communicate.  Working in letterpress department sometimes could be challenging but after finishing a job you get sense of accomplishment . The job from letterpress is like artworks, we care about the details, colour, texture and  accuracy.  

Just started my maternity leave with my second child, I think I will come back to work   after maternity leave, maybe part time or full time . Thumbs up for Jukebox. 

A typical day at work consists of greeting your team, team meetings, and answering customer questions via email, phone call, and/or in-person. 

This workplace is a fast-paced environment that teaches you to prioritize and manage your time wisely. 

Management is extremely helpful and thorough when questions arise. They are a very thoughtful team who are patient and compassionate and express and motivational attitude.

Jukebox has a lovely and comfortable Toronto office that consists of welcoming staff who are supportive and friendly.

The hardest part of the job is dealing with the occasional phone call from an upset customer. Although, it can be rewarding trying to problem solve with them!

The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to effectively assist in facilitating jobs for customers. The sense of accomplishment you feel at the end of the day makes the job feel worth it. 





I worked as a seasonal packing and assembly associate during the busy period, 5 days a week. The job taught me the importance of teamwork and how to maintain careful, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

The company pays close attention to how products look in the package to give customers a special experience. During work, we were reminded to consider how the customer would see the package when opening it.

Peak periods could be overwhelming due to the high order volume, but this shows how much the company is growing.

They use technology to make work efficient, with displays around the workspace showing priorities and progress. Daily performance data was also shared with the team.

Employees were friendly, and many seemed to enjoy their work.
