What is the best part of working at the company?
They are very organized, friendly helpful co-workers, even mixing with the other departments is for the most part issue free (which is a nice change from other jobs where each department was only out to help themselves, rather then a full team mentality like Kelloggs has).

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
For my department (shipping and receiving) the most stress came from fixing your own screw ups mostly when all the products didn't scan to the truck your loading and you have to fix it.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable co-workers. It seemed to me that we were all one big team(even though there are multiple companies that work at the Kelloggs plant as contractors.) working together to make a good product for our consumer to enjoy.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Well I would start by hitting the locker room and putting on my work uniform, then it's all about washing your hands at each and every department crossing. after that I would make my way to the forklift and start my inspection sheet. After that I would check the departments information and based on which part of the shipping and receiving department I was assigned to. I would start getting everything ready for the days work.

Kellogg's is a fantastic place to work at with a great starting wage and room to move up and get even better pay. The work here is quite repetitive, but it is easy. Shifts can be tough to maintain a balance between work and life as you will be doing 12 hour continental shifts. Depending on your department, the working conditions can be extreme as well (either very wet/damp, or extremely hot if you're doing extruding or near the oven). Great place to be if you like to be on your feet, physical and having to solve problems every once in a while.

Good pay and bonuses. Benefits and vacation start immediately.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Favoritism by management. Co workers not very friendly. Long shifts.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Tenured employees are not friendly. Training on the floor is a joke as most of the tenured are not interested in training. Leads only speak to you if they like you.

Either you have to be a suck, or relative to get anywhere.

To much favoritism around the work place.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Certain people get to do whatever they want,when they want.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful, seeing other people doing nothing while you are swamped and no help.

Great people to work for and deal with. Also a great learning forum on how to handle people and the issues they brought forward. A company car was a benefit. The salary wasn't great for a man to support his wife on. Reporting were straight forward. The chain of command was solutions reactive to client and staff issues and needs.

Different  job everyday unless you had a bid job. supervisors let you do you work with little interference. co-workers were "clicky" kept most to their own groups, other wise everyone worked as team to get the work done smoothly. worst part of the job was being on-call laid off. we were called to work at all hours of the day. best part was opportunity for overtime if you choose it

When fellow employees comitted on how they missed me if I had been off work, as they noticed when I wasn't there.

Kellogg's closed up in 2015. Shift work was erratic. Scheduling was erratic with many double and triple back shifts. However breaks were generous with 3 half an hour paid breaks. Full service cafeteria was an excellent perk as well as a Credit union on premises. Management couldn't be trusted.

A typical day would start with a call for work, the hardest part of the job is showing up.
With department and shift comfirmed, work begins, depending on tasks of the department.
I enjoy working at Kelloggs, excellent people to work with.

Would not recommend this place for someone looking to advance their career. But I did enjoy my time there, I meet alot of people and I am still friends with some today. Very diverse place, supervisor was okay  but they are all about numbers.
