Overall Kapco is a solid Tool and Die company with all the normal ins and out of a busy tool shop. One can learn a lot by applying ones self to the job.
I find the management staff help full at times with issues that comes up on the shop floor from time to time. 
I find the culture in the work place a bit relax in the sense that if you do your work no one have anything bad  to say to you however there are  people who think otherwise partly because they find it difficult to get along with the program Kapco has going on there .I believe its a good place to work and if one apply them self to the task at hand and show up for work each day they can go far with this company.
If you are looking for a job you should give this company a try.

Kapco is part of the Narmco group, which is a huge organization consists of more than 10 companies across North America. Good job security here and if you are looking for something steady and stable, this is the place to go. If you want to advance yourself, just put the hard work into it and the company would recognize it.  They are also very open to train new people, so also a good place to learn. But if you are a frequent jumper from place to place, then better not waste your time here. Loyalty is the key to promotion here.

Not really any complaints, other than the owners who in the end laid off many people permanently in order to hire others and pay the less.
This does not include myself, but co-workers experienced this bad news. However, everyone was really nice, I did my job very well and I am sure my supervisor would say the same.

Best group of people to work with ,all team players that help each other out and well managed

Ever job has good and bad days so they equal out

Very good friendly group and good teaching for new people 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work flow steady and always new things to learn

Very poor wage. An employee with 25yr cnc experience was paid 17$. Often the three month probation would be extended or doubled. Arrogant management. Culture of not helping new staff and reporting to management before addressing issue with co-worker.

Pay not the best. They don't count previous experience and play it off as saying they will increase salary at review time and then never increasing it. 

Senior staff are very unprofessional and treat others poorly. 

Promoting very rarely happens.

As a welder I did stay busy as I was the only one. Got lots of experience.

Overall good stable place to work.  Steady work flow. Shop stays up to date with the latest software. Shop floor is a clean working environment. Company was Good to me and advancememt was there if you wanted it. Management was supportive and understanding with shop and personal issues. Give it a try they were good to me.

Number one reason for people quitting is because of micromanaging of day to day asinine operations and always being put down for work not being "good enough.

The hours are nice and the pay for a millwright is good.

such a long day most days. i have learned quite abit but not the amount i should have because they didnt let you try differnt things, everything was rushed or late

Worked here as third year tool and die maker apprentice. Great group of people tought me how to machine , build and troubleshoot tools for a few years.
