A typical day was pretty easy. Put the candy in boxes, put the boxes on skids, put labels on the finished skid and move it away. Lather, rinse, repeat, so to speak. Can't say that I learned a lot that I hadn't known from previous jobs, besides the extra rules regarding food production as opposed to the manufacturing of steel parts that I had done previously. And the different machines, of course. The only problems I saw were frequently broken machines, and people who had been there a long time, and hated temps, and weren't afraid to show it. Supervisors did good work keeping people organized amidst a semi-chaotic environment. The hardest part was the rotating shifts. Most enjoyable part was the smell of candy.

I have never worked in a factory so I cannot compare it to anything similar. I started with a temp agency and was hired full time within 3 months.

My tasks include making boxes, packing candy from a line and operating various machines.

 I strongly believe the company needs to implement a training program or have designated staff train new employees. The turn over rate is so high because people get frustrated with the constant rule changes and lack of training.

Ive never had a worse management team. i tired and tried to bend over backwards for them but it wasnt worth it. They eventually switched my job title and ive never been more mistreated and yelled at by any workplace employer. Walked out within an hour of my job being switched. The pay absolutely was NOT worth being treated like that. Would never recommened someone to apply at this company.

nice company but worked last until new supervisor its hired Really enjoyed working there, loved position, loved people/workers. HR and management is horrible bad management scheduler  I think they don't  listen they employee only listen they office if some one ask you want go back to your shift they fired you false statement

I enjoyed working there on a contract, as packager and material handler. It feels like a big family and many people worked there all their life. If you don't mind been treated with not much work ethics, and sometimes been yelled at. But at least it feels real , and I have fond memories of working there

Karma is a very diverse company with many employees. very friendly employees, great neighborhood. rotating eight hour shifts    (Days , Nights and Afternoons) there is also a designated smoking area for smokers during their breaks and lunches

Most enjoyable part is working with the employee that I work with..he makes the time go fast as we joke around while we work.

Toxic work environment, ladies yell at you while they are training you. I have never experienced so much drama in my life. Run far away, don't do it! Everyone who works their is miserable, not worth the lousy money. They treat Temps like dirt there, also may take up tp 2 years before they hire you

I was a temp and I needed money .  Everyone is either really grumpy or really hates their life's decisions that lead them here.  You get sent home sometimes first thing in the morning if there isn't any work if you're temping.  

Even if you've worked for this company on a seasonal or temporary contract, it automatically prevents you from working for them again in any capacity. You can't be considered for future positions, and they won't provide a rule that a past temporary or seasonal role prohibits future employment.
