A good place to start in your retail sales career as part time (not full time). They would cut hours when it’s not busy and throw you under the bus when a customer complains about you even though you’re doing nothing wrong. Since it’s a 2% commision-paid job ,workload are often unfair, some staffs have to do backstock all the time while others push sales to get more money for their cheque. When it’s come to training, managers or supervisors are lack of care and duty. New employees work for a month doesn’t know how to do exchange or return or order online for customers. Only when problems occur that they will start to train you properly. 

My typical day at work consists of me getting accused of things I didn’t do or getting accused that I wasn’t doing my job properly, there were time when I would have some form of migraine and sometimes they would let me take a bit of a break but that would be included in my 45 min break, if u worked a 5 hour shift u can only have a 15 min break, 6-7 hours was 30 mins and 8+ was 45 mins, the only part I enjoyed of the job was that I had two people look out for me while the rest of the crew wouldn’t bat an eye when I was the only one doing my job which was folding boxes and boxes of clothing, stalking shoes, taking care of customers, cashier, so on and so forth

The staff relationship was positive, between assistant managers, key holders and associates. A typical day can bring in very interesting customers, as it is an international brand, bringing  you face to face with people from all over the world. I learned that product knowledge is just as important as brand knowledge and values. The management was less than perfect, which resulted in my departure. My co-workers were friendly and kind. The hardest part of the job was communicating with management effectively. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know the brand history, as well as learning about the way the company history was incorporated into the design process

This job is a great source of income for me while being a full time student working towards my bachelors degree. There isn't much room for advancement and the overall pay is mediocre, but it is a low level position within this company so a large amount of income from this line of work is not expected. The most enjoyable part of the job was building relationships with clients and working in a low stress environment. The hardest part of this job was rearranging the store every season and facing the occasional difficult customer.

Free polo's and sometimes you get to work with great sales people.

The con's start with the hiring process, when someone at this company tells you about how great it is or that there's opportunity for growth. Unfortunately it's all just a ploy to get you hired, as they are unable to find good people (due to lack of pay) and they loose good current people (due to lack of pay and support). And if a bonus structure seems great/makes you want to work there, just wait until they change it once they realize people are able to make money from it.

Often stressful from the manager and top end.  Always asking things to be done but get no help in return.  No training what-so-ever.  Low wage contribute.  Manager at this location is good at talking but not good at management work.  Abuse of power and talk down on the employees. 
 Culture isn't really there.  Manager expect you go around and talk to her instead she come and approach on personal level.

Great company with great environment. Support from management and Head office. Friendly environment.  Company have a great history and brand image that they maintain very well. Very focused days on customers. Once in two week is visual changes full support from visual manager. Great work culture and very respectful.

The managers and assistant managers are extremely overpaid, upper management will do anything and throw money at them but underpay supervisors and sales associates that actually do all the work. Lacoste Niagara outlet has the worst manager in the history of retail and I recommend never working there because she is a backstabbing gossiper who thrives on disfunction.

If you are a sales person you get paid fair but management level get paid unfair because the amount responsibilities were not balance with your wage. But overall it’s a very good place to start your carrier. 
The store management are very friendly and very helpful. Love working together will all team. You paid 50% off for some items you you want to purchase. Only Polo tshirt uniform were given for free.

Beware it's a trap, very sketchy!!
The company won't even provide you a letter of employment. 
They tend to fire people in a very short period of time (within two weeks) saying you're unfit for the position.
Looking back all they wanted from you is to do what you're being told, like a robot and don't even share your thoughts how business should run, they don't want the facts otherwise you're in BIG TROUBLE!!
