Great culture and team to work with . Operations management was the best I had experienced in my career. Sales team were misfits and could not secure jobs with any "new" customers. 

A typical day at work would consist of getiing ink setting up jobs, mounting cylinders,double ckecking orders,measureing.getting rolls of plastic to be printed,taping and throwning splices,cutting over rolls.
Cleaning ink pans,running forklift to put away cylinders and get new ones.Making bales of scrap plastic.

Start shift in right frame of mind,
There is away new jobs to learn,
Management there to help you when you need the help,
Co-workers great teamwork,
When someone gets hurt on the job,
Working with a great team of co-workers.

I would trim gates, cut flash, inspect parts for colour, assemble parts and clean the shop. I always came home covered in dirt and sweat, hard to book a day off, management & HR are horribly rude, and if you're a good, fast worker you better believe you are getting put on the hardest jobs they have.

I enjoy working at lakeside plastics. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. All the senior associates are very helpful to the new associates. They make your new experience relaxing and make you feel at ease.

not a good place to work at all.    it is so hot in the summer it melted the thermostat to the column ..  called the ministry in and of course the day they came ..,   lakeside only ran the small presses which made it a non issue with the ministry.

Operate plastic injection machines
Meet quotas for parts 
Filled machines with plastic resins 
Deliver resins and components to machines as required
Prepare products for shipments 
Load/unload trucks with Fork lift

Good work experience, met some real good people here and we all pretty much work as a team.  

Not very good work to life balance, you don't get all the recognized holidays off and your pretty much on point 24/7.  Do not expect any raises or a even a thank you.

besides the pay-cheque, there is nothing enjoyable. The job is repetitious so really nothing new to learn. Management treats you poorly. At this point no future for advancement.

Was a great place to work for many years. But then they hired the wrong people at the top, to keep the place sustainable. With little new work coming in unfortunately.
