Go through the reviews before applying to this company. I applied for a job, got an interview request but then was advised to contact the hr. I called her and her response was @oh sorry I can’t remember you, but let’s fix a date and time for the next day by 2pm”. Waited till night and got no confirmation email, I had to send her an email to confirm our appointment. On the said date, she responded with a confirmation message. I called and called all through that day, till today the 17th of June I’ve got nothing from this company. I also sent emails and still no response. VERY BAD HR SERVICE, I’ve never been treated like this. Gel like they’re playing with ones feeling this COVID-19 period.

What is the best part of working at the company?
THE BEST part working with latham is you being treated like a family ,latham always listen to their employee . they will work with you if you have any issue and make change to fit your plan .and safety is number one for latham

for me there is no stressful part i looking forward to go to work  everyday

work enviroment is great and culture is the best for the employee

so latham is a seasonal business so we prepared for our busy season . it very challenging for me but i love to handle challange

Answered 100's of emails and telephone inquiries on client's product warranty.
As some clients could be very frustrated and angry, keeping your cool was very important. call client as much as possible and explain the warranty policy on their product.
Management always had your back, my co-workers and managers wee like family.
The hardest part of my job was dealing with the client that they were not covered under warranty. The most enjoyable part of the job is resolving an issues to everyone's satisfaction

Family oriented business always open door policy. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Smiles from the time you walk in till the end of day. Great place to work. Gonna miss the whole bunch of them.

The job is not difficult, the systems set up to run the company are very frustrating to update. I find the company spends too much time charting your performance, instead of encouraging knowledge and team building. It is very frustrating when your daily challenge is other teams not participating in the effort to make the company a great team, by saying it is not my job.

Nothing at all. There is no point working for this bad company.

Very bad and stressful. Too much work and no good pay.

Starts with work and ends with too much work.

As of monday January 15 in Brantford Ontario at the Vinyl location, we were just told us we can't listen to music during work.  I think honestly that is very sad, everyone isn't happy for this.  

Also many people, and myself wage hasn't gone up in over 3yrs.  If they do give you more money it's over 25cents after a year.

Recently this company within the last six months gave
out huge raises while 20 year employees got nothing...there are people who have been employs five years making more than 15 year employees....
 
Bad management....

Very low morale....and getting worse

And when they are done with you you're laid off or fired

Decent place to work however they did a lot of downsizing due to corporate restructuring as a result of being bought by an American company. This meant many people, including myself losing their jobs, even some people that had worked there for over 10 years. Also there was not much room for advancement.

This company is a joke. They don't have formal training rules change daily. Supervisors and managers can't even run all machines yet they try to tell you how to do your job.
