I couldn’t not be more happy here at Lawn Troopers! We have the best boss, supervisor, foremen, and coworkers…can’t forget the awesome ladies in the office and the office dogs too!!

I’m constantly learning different skills & jobs, and each person you work with has their own individual teaching tips so you are constantly learning new tricks of the trade!

Each job site is very well planned, scheduled and laid out with more than sufficient special notes and instructions but yet there is still always room for your own creative input. 

The team camaraderie is beyond amazing! You can work with anyone on any given day and have an amazing day at work! 

 Lawn Troopers is like a family…a home away from home!

I have worked at the company coming up on 2 years soon, I was nervous before started cause I knew landscaping may be hard on the body and less inviting people, on the first day at lawn troopers everybody welcomes you in like your family. They’re patient with you, teach you everything until they know you have it, and keep your safety as their number 1 priority. After working at lawn troopers for quite a bit now I’ve made lots of great memories and met great people. All the people here I can 100% say are great people, the management is great. The head boss and Owner is the best boss, they have a great way of thinking about work “ a happy worker is a good worker” I would 100% recommend lawn troopers as a company to work for you will not regret it

I had a great time at Lawn Troopers. Learned a lot of useful knowledge about landscaping, gardening, grass cutting, and more. Management is great and is always there when you have questions or need anything. Co-workers are all great, easy to get along with, and full of knowledge that they will gladly teach you. Cant think of many cons, other than the early starts and long hours can be a little tiresome (but thats with any job). Overall, at Lawn Troopers there are great relationships to be had, was a fun and engaging workplace, and the best landscaping company to work for hands down.

The overall experience from start to employment exceeded all my expectations! The interview process was fun and they actually made sure they learned about me as a person. The work environment is so empowering, they focus so much on personal growth so every employee can grow together with the company as well as in their own personal lives. It is busy and thriving but it's also an overall fun place to be. I never thought I would ever have an opportunity like this.


the management needs serious work
hours are lousy because of people being hired on when not needed cutting our hours. 
all new applicants hired on are making more than 1$ more an hour currently being paid 11.50 / h  and new applicants making 12-12.50 Highly unfair to all the people who have been there a long period of time.
Poor employee appreciation no incentive to want to work hard nothing to keep us interested in the job

Amazing coworkers and working environment!
You are given the tools and training that you need to flourish, and strive as a member of the team.  The main focus and goal is that everyone works togethers, whether you're out in the field, or in the office - We are one unit! This aspect has been beneficial in helping to maintain a work-life balance. 
I am so grateful that I found this company. For the the first time in a long time, I'm excited to go to work, and I'm looking forward to the future!

The absolute greatest, most forward thinking company I'm proud to be a part of. The management takes care of both the customers and employees, and invests in their workers unlike any workplace I've ever seen. Whether you stay for a summer or a decade, this company has many opportunities for growth and development and takes pride in its work and its people. 

Matt is a great boss/owner. Great chance to work outdoors around the GTA and no day is the same.  Lot of hours available and and good co-workers.  You will work in small teams driving from site to site and you get paid from when you clock in until the day is done.  It is a fun environment to be in.  You need to have good work ethic as the job is tiring and a lot needs to be done but it helps the day go by faster.

Just began at lawn troopers and so far it has been a great company to work for! I have been able to get experience in all departments and all the crew leaders have been very open to training me in anything I need! The management is amazing and everyone always comes to work with a smile on their face! Overall a very amazing job and environment!
