What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being fit 100% for service. When working 2000+ hour seasons in Construction you need a lot of sleep and a healthy diet to perform in the field on all job sites! Zero drug and alcohol policies are a must! Safety is number one!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Diverse and Welcoming! It is a high paced environment because it is a production driven industry to perform and produce safe quantities production in phase construction.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy! Every hour is busy! Especially on days where we have concrete pours.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Getting out and working a hard day ,and leaning new skills everyday, and being outside working knowing me and my co workers put in another hard days work

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When your on a tmelimit to get a job done and some days you can't find the tools you had the day before or waiting for concrete to come when your ready for it

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work hard ,get along with your brothers ,and always keep busy I feel great after a hard days work

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working for the largest union in Canada with 60,000+ workers is knowing they have lots of work for the many areas they conduct in . Also paying towards a pension is also great for the future

Potential lay offs can hinder ones ability to pay bills

The work environment is always good for the most part 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work hard go home . That's typically how a work day is

Starting my morning with coffee at the office, getting ready with all the tools ( phone computer monitors) opening the systems (software) getting ready to answer call or front line face to face customer service.  Learn about all construction workers benefits including vacation pay and other options for them.  
There was no hard part; I thing we all have challenges that We are able to handle at the time. Time with co-workers. 

Helping people on a daily basis was basically what the day revoled around. Learned how to complete projects before the due dates. How to orginazie and gain better social skills. Also became more computer savy. Mangement was helpfull and thoughtfull. Coworkers are friendly and kind. Hardest part for me was sitiing infront of the computer all day. Most enjoyable part was the fact in knowing that we were helping people.

At LiUNA local 183, you are a member of a bother and sisterhood, every member of the local are some of the funniest, well rounded, and just overall great people to be with and makes you look forward into coming into work that day to get some laughs. The local also has many jobs depending on the season, with great pay and even better benefits.

Early working start, some projects far from house

Very good, brotherhood, friendly

Made lots of great money but didn't work year round. Had hard time getting them to send me to work so i could afford to pay bills. Made lots of friends. Worked for alot of great companies but also worked for alot of bad ones

This was an amazing place to work during the summer. Everyone in the office is super nice and helpful. The lawyers are willing to help you at any point and bring you to arbitrations for the files that you will be working on.  Great place to work.

I have learned a lot from working here. classes, among other things have given me the tools needed to achieve what i need for my family and myself. ..
