Local 1325

A typical day at work involves hard labor and working at heights. I've learned how to work in a high stress environment. Management differs from each contract and site. The people working in this field are family oriented and team players. The hardest part of this job would be the long hours and time spent away from family.

I love working Union they have done for me what no other ever has.  Enough said. They have taught me how to be efficient professional and to meet dead lines.  How important it is to show up everyday and making customers happy is the end result in making clients happy with how and when a project should be done

I live this line of work and local 1325 help train you and educate you properly on certain aspects of our job for correct building techniques and due diligence. The safety culture is prevalent. Great money and benefits to support a family.

It was a wonderful atmosphere and I had friendly coworkers and a cooperative boss, but the pay and inconsistent hours werent enough to maintain bills.

They gave me opportunities I never thought were possible. It was hard work, fast paced, and rewarding. It was an honor to work at Local 1325. Moving onto the next chapter of my life now.

Local 1325 had been a great place to work for many years.  I took my entire apprenticeship through their training center.  However, local 1325 has become so watered down that working non-union has become a welcoming change.

Took a apprenticeship when I was younger worked all over Alberta now trying to get back into my trade again and getting back to work and finishing my apprenticeship

very good place to work with great management.i learned so much in my trade and the work experience was and is very valuable.it had many challenges,but very rewarding.

I enjoyed my time as a scaffolder it gave me knowledge and experience and pride in the type of work that you do it also gave me the appreciation for most things in life
