My manager was actually pretty good.  but the job itself is horrible.  for every 2 week of work you only get compinsated for 1 day of gas (math they use).
there is no protection if you get hurt on the job.  If someone complains even though they got their paper you will not get paid for it.   Constantly short papers.  If you do not fit in with the clique that gathers at truck time you are ousted.  There seems to be different rules for different employees.  Ive been stolen from,  defamed and made to feel like a total piece of garbage.  THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU.  also the same baby boomers that delivered papers on saturday mornings years ago and tossed them on the driveway are now the same people who complain if you put the newspaper in the newspaper rings of the mailbox and not the actual mailbox.   Complaints will come wether there is one warranted or not, because people are cheap and know if they complain they get a refund, which means you dont get paid for that house even though you delivered to it.
YOU ARE A CONTRACTOR FOR THEM SO IT MEANS THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT.

Only take this job if you are single, dont have much bills to pay and not a great car you dont care about.  it is NOT worth it.  its not extra money, its extra stress and no sleep. This job was not for me.  ive wasted enough time on this review now 

I start at 7 am and sign out my forklift. I pick out skids of inserts to be inserted into hoppers for 2 different lines for the day and move them into the staging area then load them into the freight elevator and take them up to the distribution center on the second floor where I unload skids of inserts and place them in front of the appropriate hopper. Once inserts are are completed and placed on skids I load them into the freight elevator and deliver them to the loading dock for shipping. This is a continuous operation all day long making sure that the inserts are always replenished to the distribution center. I've learned that team work and communication is needed to keep thins flowing smoothly. Understanding and respect of co-workers is a must for cooperation between departments. The hardest part of the job is that the days can be long and it is quite physically demanding. I enjoy the people and the fact that the end of the day, I have done a good job.

Typical work would be at 2 am to start picking up stack of newpapers from the straight truck and then to the car. 
I learn about the papers route and how people want theirs papers to be deliver.
Mangement can be a bit of the problem because a lots of times the papers can be stuck or machine stop working at the factory and then the times would be close to finish times for delivery, so I have to hurry to deliver it all before end times of 6 am.
I enjoy because I would get to walk and see new house or new address to be added for delivery.

Driving to and from destinations. Delivery of a material to customers home or business. I learned reliability, honesty, and accountability. My wife is my co-worker, very efficient. The most difficult part is address changes by customers, and working in any type of weather. The most enjoyable is mastering a route, and the physical exercise.

I would go at 2 am and deliver papers..I saw a few customers in the morning before i returned home.hardest part was to set a time to do things during the day ,as working during the night would interfer with that,..but I love working nights or days...most enjoyable was the customers...loved them and loved Dresden where I delivered the papers.

I enjoyed working independently and was required to do my job in a timely manner I was able to do my routes on time. I would pick up the papers from the warehouse and deliver them to the house in a rural setting, The hardest part of my job was when I first started was to find my way through the country roads.

I enjoyed the steadiness my job duty and company of my co-workers, although i feel my work place environment could have bin more organized and demanding. Management was lenient yet fair.i found being able too enjoy my job was easiest but the unorganized structure i found most complex.

A good place to work while in school or balancing another job. Speak with hundreds of people on a promotion on the LFP. Learn strong people skills and how to read/understand people. Hardest part of the job would be dealing with rejection, and getting up your confidence to continue.

The pay was low and the papers got very very big an heavy. There were too many papers which was one of the reasons why I quit. It bothered me how the Free Press often put 2 rolls of advertisements into the package and would only pay me for delivering the one roll of papers, but not the other

London Free Press was a bad working experience and felt completely taken advantage of while working there. Would never recommend to anyone. Employers response time is way too long.
