Job is easy. You sit and wait for a phone call. Unfortunately when one does come it goes to all employees working and who ever answers it first, gets it. The call volume is not high and some days you might not even get to take a call. They claim this is by design but it doesn’t appear such. As there are days where no calls come in, So there isn’t even the chance to answer fast enough to beat the others to the call. 
The next big issue would be the hours. They claim you will receive full time hours but unfortunately they have this system where you "pick" your own hours. The problem with this is the hours get released on a app to everyone, at the same time.. This creates a whole issue with everyone scrambling to pick from the available shifts and you don’t actually get to pick what day and time you want as the shifts get taken within minutes of them being released. So if you only get two shifts cause you weren’t fast enough well sorry but better luck next time. You are being paid hourly plus commission there is a very low chance this can actually be a career for you as the is no guarantee for any hours. Which leads me into my last issue with this "company" they could honestly care less if you are able to cover your bills while working for them. They are more focused with everyone being friends with one another more than your financial stability. Which makes it hard for you to want to do your best when your efforts can’t even support a pay cheque to pay cheque lifestyle. I’m not complaining about people getting along at a job. That’s a good thing. It’s more a problem when that takes priority over you being able to support yourself financially. Which unfortunately is the case here. 
Some honourable mentions to end this off with. 
-None of the policies I have sold were actually sold with my name as the advisor on the application. They have the owners name on it despite I did the work. You aren’t even the one to submit the application. You just do the hard part of selling the policy and getting the clients information. You are also required to take calls from potential clients in provinces you aren’t even licensed in. That is illegal and against the rules. The work around is your name isn’t on th policy so it’s "okay" for them to do. Get licensed in every province first if you consider working here. Don’t risk your license for a company like this.
- Seems to be you should make yourself available 24/7 for the clients and put family second. If it’s your day off call a client forget that special occasion you might have planned with a significant other, or going out with friends. 
- This is more of a second job for some extra cash. You should not expect to make this a full time career. At least not with this company.


I have been working at Longevity Achieved full-time for more than 3 years. They have what they call a high touch model which includes weekly calls and meetings and lots of training sessions

The management is always accessible, there are opportunities to advance (you have to really want it), and they include all the technology needed to streamline and automate my insurance broker business.

It's worth noting - this is a challenging environment, you can't be here to coast or park your license. You work with a coach or leader in the office and sometimes directly with the MGA, they expect growth and elevated performance, always - there's "no peak".

This place took months to even get you started and paid from the "hire date". Yes, you do have to be licensed first but I was able to complete this in a month, yet it took three months before I had actually started making money.

Additionally, they advertised it as not a sales job but that is exactly what it was. You were forced to keep pushing life insurance onto people who literally cannot afford it. They don't even have enough to pay for necessities and yet everyone in the company was telling me there was a way around that.

This place is extremely cult-like and isn't any different from any other dishonest call-centre agencies out there. Stay far away

Chaotic. Company is constantly restructuring without communicating with staff. Staff are expected to meet on Saturday mornings and volunteer for extra work, including management duties. Lots of talk about community, but no real support given. The position I was hired for was eliminated without giving me any advance warning.

The environment at Longevity is always positive. The Lead Brokers genuinely care about every broker and client they serve. The passion they have for what they do is evident in every interaction

The organization lacks a bit of structure, They hire people with no real plans for them and not enough training and support is provided to new hires on the job
