----Summary of personal experience-------------------------
Lumenwerx is a startup company with several small-to-medium size departments in the office, and small teams within bigger departments in the production warehouse. What that means is that you are personally known, and you are responsible for any work you do. If you show dedication and interest in what you do, you will get rewarded* - eg. you can literally start as a shop drawer and 1 year or so later be a project manager of many US regions (personal experience), or part of the R&D team for the new line of product (friend’s experience).

----What I learned + Management-------------------------
This place is perfect for people who are new in the Canadian job market and want to get experience in different fields in the manufacturing/lighting/design industries, because you are given opportunities to learn new software and tools (and even sent for training at the company's expense) - provided you show that you are reliable and you have good work ethics*.

----Hardest part of the job-------------------------
There are occasional months throughout the year when the workload increases because of the many new building projects throughout the US and Canada. There are also months where the workload is less than average, so that makes up for the busy months.

----Most enjoyable part of the job + Culture-------------------------
Awesome people to work with, to play with (see Pros), and also to learn from.


*The opposite is also true - lacking those qualities leads to upper management knowing who is to be held accountable for on-going sloppy work and mistakes.

Rude, toxic and intimidating employees and toxic environment. Manipulative and poor management and no job security. Discrimination. Loads of repetitive works with no organized schedule and non-sensical performance judgments.
Underrated salary started from 40K regardless of your experience.
Unprofessional environment and gossipy place. Very poor training session. It was a pure waste of time.

The factory and company is super clean compared to other places but the management is narrow sited and slow. For jobs that should be paying a fair wage, they underpay immensely. It seems they only aim for newcomers and immigrants without experience to work there. Doesn't seem that they are concerned if you speak english or french, which causes a lot of communication problems in the work environment.  

Working here is a whirlwind. Everything is done just in time and with a wing and a prayer with little regard for the future or the sanity of workers. Most of the folks are very nice but there's an unnecessary amount of stress caused by poor organization.

Overall working environment is fine, managers are good and work life balanced can be maintained.
But, there is misuse of probation period by some department, they hire people for the vacation period of their employee and fire them by giving non sense performance based excuses.
you have to be unnecessarily sugar coat your some one on the top to survive your probation. 

Great challenges! Helpful mindset from all employees. Great place to work! A company with good intentions to consistently improve their products and tools to help their members work more efficiently and be happier.

It was ok to be there for that short period.Learned to work in a team.
Workplace culture was not that good, they do not care for their employees.
Being worked on these tough work[place brings in you ability to adapt in any atmosphere anywhere anytime and develops a strong leader in you.

The company pays low wages, treats us workers as disposable, management trying to make us work hard like it’s a high paying job. No wonder most of the  workers there don’t care and most don’t work hard. Why should we care about the company when the company doesn’t care about us.

They make you work so much for less, if you complain about a little thing, they make your life the worst, the manager of cleaning don’t even know how to do the job, and want to do a 8 hour job in 3 or 4. Very badplace, if your are not Jewish, forget about getting a good position 

Good to start working if this is first job, but no growth if stay for long time,
Management not good, Lots of deadlines to meet, salary much lower than market.
