With loads of costumers to interact with, and a great staff, a typical day at work can be very fun on busy days. Slow days can be quite long with little to do other that refill the freezers and clean windows. In my time at M&M’S I have acquired good customer service skills through training videos, shadowing seasoned sales reps and first hand on the job experience. As for management, although very kind and friendly, who I like very much on a personal level, does not, in my opinion, manage things very well. They never order enough of the products that are on sale, which is very frustrating for the customers and do not give raises to any of their employees. I really like my coworkers for we get along great. There is no drama and we feed off of each other’s success making for great chemistry and a pleasant atmosphere. The hardest part of my job is working in the walk in freezer (I hate the cold) and the most pleasant, being a people person, is interacting with customers.

Refilling the freezer it so cold in 12 months of the yr dress for winter

I've only worked here during the holidays so I can't speak much about the other times. During the holidays people were more jolly and enjoyable to interact with since they're coming in to purchase sweets and appetizers. Working in the freezer is a must and if you don't like the cold then layer up since you'll be in and out of it everyday. Great time would recommend.

I've been working for M&M Food Market (as it is now called) on and off as you will see on my Resume.  I enjoy helping people. I appreciate working for my boss as he is thoughtful and caring.

Dealing with the same people week in and week out was great and after so many years they really become a huge part of your life.I was responsible for the day to day things...banking,scheduling staff,purchase orders,cleaning and best of all serving our customers.

M&M Meat Shop always accommodated me and was a very flexible place to work at. it was a fun and laid back job. The co-workers were good as well. being in the freezer all the time was hard though.

Working here was a good experience but lacked fair management. the culture was the best part as well as using communication and sales skills. Working to advancement is possible but takes time.
