My day at Maple Ridge Community Management is a dynamic balance of communication, coordination, and problem-solving. It begins by reviewing emails and the maintenance portal to prioritize resident requests and vendor follow-ups. Much of the morning is spent liaising with our trusted contractors to schedule repairs, obtain quotes, and ensure quality work on community amenities and homeowner issues. Afternoons often involve preparing board meeting materials, drafting clear community announcements, and meticulously reviewing financial reports. Throughout the day, I’m the central point of contact—answering homeowner inquiries with empathy, mediating minor concerns, and documenting everything to ensure transparency. Every task, from approving a landscaping invoice to explaining a covenant, is done with the core mission of enhancing property values and fostering a harmonious community.

While working for the company, I felt under appreciated and definitely under compensated for the position held. When I was moved to another Administrative position, triple the size of the building and I asked for a salary increase, I was denied. That attitude alone solidified my decision to look for employment elsewhere. Held an Administrative position for several years, having to act many a time as the Property Manager but without the salary. Support is minimal especially if working remotely at a site.
It’s unfortunate that this company chooses to loose good, hardworking, loyal employees  rather than compensating even just a little bit more to keep them happy. - just my 2 cents worth of comments on my experience 

Maple Ridge Community Management was fun place to work at. My immediate boss was great and very helpful. The management was excellent. My co-workers were from all walks of life and from all parts of the world. Help me understand different cultures better.
The hardest part of the job was refraining from getting into chit chat with so many wonderful people and the most enjoyable was 3:00 afternoon tea with my boss and colleagues.

There are some really great people at Head Office that are willing to help you.

Dealing with difficult residents and, on occasion, managers.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy with calls, emails and invoices

Daily filing, data entry, view information/invoices issue cheques. Send it over to courier department. Reviewed invoice details, look for any errors or discrepancies, resolve, issue cheques. 
Multi-cultural settings. Hardest part was when overload of work due to short of employees/employees on leave, I always stayed back and completed as much as I can. Enjoyable part was always had work so time flies, and all the employees are very helpful with each other.

This is a good Company. The position is very straight forward, answering telephone calls, inquiries regarding owners responsibilities and building maintenance issues.

You work together as a team, and at times alone. However, you always work together with the assigned Property Manager of the assisted caller.

Working here you'll get the chance to learn bunches of new racist jokes and try to manage tenants who are irritated as a result of the poor work the onsite directors do. I quit in a few months and now am some place much better. Simply google their name for opinions of what people think.

Nothing to like. Scam promises..but nothing worked as per they said. UNderpaid, lied to about salary, benefits. all about wroking around the rules to max bucks. Nothing was followed legally. complete cheating management. do not care about customers

Maple ridge is now ran by an amazing ED who cares deeply about its residents and staff. She resolves any issues or grievances that may arise. Most of the staff here now are brand new but highly qualified and resident oriented. Its a wonderful place to work I honestly enjoy each day.
