A typical day at work is continuous work for productivity with limited time to rest.  Continuously learning new machines.  Management is helpful and is there to help with any problem you encounter.  
Replace workers when needed to relieve them for washroom breaks, therefore you need to know how to do more than one job on the assembly line.  Diverse workplace culture which makes it pleasant to work.in the factory.  The hardest part of the job is to load the bin with 10 parts; each part weighing 35 lbs.  The most enjoyable part of the job is to place the paper on the bin once the 10 parts are all loaded.

This was a freelance job which I worked flexible hours therefore I am not able to identify too well with the company culture.  Everyone knew what was required of them on the job.  The office was very quiet most times.  The company is associated with auto parts manufacturing so I learnt about components and how to prepare financial data and statements in such an environment.

As you can see, I stayed at Matcor for 16 long years meaning I am satisfied with our working enviromnent, the people I worked with we're all friends and no boss relationships.

Well organized place where quality related skills in the field of automotive can be improved. A good combination of fun, quality oriented thoughts, and friendly environment. Learned how to deal with customers. Effectively worked in the fast paced environment and developed quick decision making skills. Scheduled co-workers, and enjoyed in participating various study.

Learned how to operate robotic cells
Worked in quality department as an auditor 
Also learned the quality of weld penetration. This was done by cutting welded parts into small pieces checking the weld penetration through microscope. Reporting the findings to management .

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very descent company,  I enjoyed working with matcor, 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress  but salary is not competitive 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I liked the work culture and I worked as a tool and die maker

Great shift times. Good benefits, but too much smoke from the welding machines. I learned team work and management was really cooperative. The community was really welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed to do shipping parts and fixture check.

It was a very safe environment to be around and a great experience excelling at the tasks given. The work as a press operator deals with a lot of responsibility because if any sheets of metal goes into the press that isn't supposed to, you might indicate and take initiative into the situation.

One of the reputable companies in Canada. Business oriented Management team and friendly to all employees. I feel good working here
