Work is doled out on a Who your friend or family member in the company is! Safety is preached but supervisors encourage you to get er done! If you get injured know that eventually you will be screwed over!

most of the time we did the same thing which gets boreing but i did learn a few things 1 was when we would clean the heat exchangers i learned what it was for how it was used the other workers were great to work with hardest part of the job would be waiting for the next job to come up not sure what i enjoyed most

it was good pay from what I was used to but no work/life balance what so ever.  Other companies will give you 21 days on and 7 off or somethign along those lines but Maxx could work you 2 months straight and have 4 days off before going back to work.  All over the place with management and HR communications

I enjoyed my time at maxx. Felt like I could advance within the company. But their shift schedule was brutal. I was home maybe 5 days a month. If they changed the schedule I'd go back in a heartbeat but if you didnt want to work 24 days straight it was like you were frowned upon. 

Friendly management, excellent pay, tough schedule burn if you’re ok being gone for sometimes long periods it’s a good job. Foreman were all nice and willing to teach me as a newcomer.

Overall they pay very well , not much room for advancement. Managment needs work. Usually random scheduling, long shifts away from home. layoffs can last 3 to 4 months with no promise of return.

it's not work if your having fun I really like working with maxx good people they really make u feel part of a team even tho iam a Aboriginal Frist Nation they made me feel part of the team real fast I found that cool thx maxx

Hardest days are rigging in and out. After the rig in rig out usually theres down time just maintaining and monitoring. High level of safety and good support from the HR department is also a positive component of working at Maxx

Traveling,Tracking tools organizing job and staff working out of town I have learned surveying and line locating. Management skills and payroll. The hardest part was dealing with last min jobs that where put in the scheduled .

My experience with Maxx was overall very enjoyable, field staff all had good attitudes and jobs progressed smoothly. Based out of Edmonton makes it a central location for employees from out of town.
