What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part for me working for this company was  that I really enjoyed working with Clients, I have satusfaction when I helped them to solve their health problems by giving them an excellent Customer Service with empathy,  ethical care, professional support, making them to feel confident  and happy with my work,  taking care of them  in a timely banner but save and secure,  I really enjoy working independently and /or in a team works.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part for me working in the Company was  When Client come to the Clinic looking for health care and  I couldn’t do  nothing for them because I have to go follow  the Clinic’s  rules and procedures for example when the sick patient arrived looking  to see the doctor and the Clinic is almost close,  but all the time I was asked  to  my supervisor “how can I  help the Clients, what can I do and she advised me because she was in charge of the Clinic”. When the Clinic was close we gave information to the Clients about the near Clinic they can go.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
For me the environment of the company was really good, I like to work a peas full, friendly,  and  respectful  environment for the clients and for the staff,  I believe  that if the employees are happy, the  Clienta are happy because they receive the best Service.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The typical day like for me at the company is enjoy Working  together  everyday  with the staff  or independently  solving  Patients’s problems or health necessities,  to make Clients satisfuction and happiness.

A typical day at work would be getting everything ready for the day, such as pulling Doctors charts, getting computers ready, posting schedules, checking in patients, bringing patients to rooms. I learned how to use the EzBill program for booking appointments, and also learned how to do Alberta Health Care Billing. Management was a little unorganized and never got to their deadlines. I worked with a great bunch of people, always very friendly and always welcomed any questions that I had. The hardest part of the job was multitasking so many things at once for example; answering phones, checking in patients and bringing patients to the rooms. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting such great people that always made your day brighter.

A typical day at work was  very busy  with lots of patients coming in, at the same time, it was well structured and a happy place to work. I learnt how to work hand in hand with Doctors, nurses and other clerical staff to achieve a goal I.e get patients the best care they need.
Management was very very good, and Manager and Assistant manger are hard workers.

Co -workers are easy to work with and also  good team players,and  very friendly.

The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting people and getting good feedback about their health.Their was always room to grow.

Too much workload, too little pay rate. 
Here you will have more experience.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
triaging, medical history, blood test, injections, calling patients pharmacies or lab to follow up. 
PFT, holters, egk, 
etc.

Flexible hours... Can get time off for family.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When you are there we're always understaffed so you must run around on busy days

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly family like feeling all inclusive all feeling respected and appreciated.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Give injections, do blood work, triage patients, assist physicians...

Doctors are very unprofessional. Instead of communication they will report you and accuse you of not knowing how to take height weight. They will go directly to the manger and if the manager likes you but the doctors don’t (by the way they’re all friends) they will work together to fire u. Anyways the doctor reported me to my licensed board and said I didn’t know how to take height and weight ... I don’t think you need a nursing diploma to know how

Company rewards you not with compensation but with more workload. They will then belittle you for not keeping up. They will forget to do reviews and then not increase your wages. Staff is not trained properly causing extremely high turnover.  There is never enough staff within the company and everyone is overworked. Extremely poor management. 

The most enjoyable part of my current job is the patients and the physicians and staff. The work atmosphere is rewarding because the patients are apart of the Family Health Team and thus a special relationship between staff and doctors has developed beautifully

I have a five months of co-op experience as a Medical Office Administrator in MCI The Doctor’s Office. During that time I learned CIS software and improved my skills in customer service, patient record management, health insurance plan and computer. All stuff is professional and helpful, especially Office Manager.

It was fun working with the doctors and supporting staffs at MCI. We loved our patients and took the best possible care of them. The sad part is everyone was like your family there for if one becomes seriously ill it affects everyone.
