MIDTOWN CAR WASH

First off, this place is a revolving door. People come and go nearly every week. Management at Midtown is horrible. The owner of the place can come in in a bad mood and fire people for making simple mistakes. He's also verbally abusive to his employees and can sometimes be heard screaming and swearing at them.

The place is understanding of your outside life. If you need a day off to do something important it usually isn't a hassle.

There are no opportunities to advance and no raises to be seen. You will be paid minimum wage for as long as you work there. The job is very stressful and the negative tone the owner sets makes the place feel like the employees are on thin ice every single day and that becomes taxing very quickly.

Don't take this job unless you absolutely need money, and make sure it's just a pit stop and not something you do long term.

My time working here was great. Everyone was nice and was respectful. They did train me until I was able to do my job without assistance. We had days where business wasn’t busy and long but it was easy to find something to do to keep yourself busy. I thought the boss was quite understanding and I appreciate the experience I had when I worked here. 

worked for this company for a few years.... only because i couldn't find anything else that would be as flexible. horrible work conditions. work area was not heated well enough during winter and got overly hot during summer due to bad air flow. Horrible, old, out dated equipment. Favoritism  played a big part.

The manager or store owner is not a welcoming nor nice person, he likes throwing things at his employees if they’ve made a mistake, he yells at his employees in front of employees and customers. You’re not allowed inside the store to warm up, the break room is not heated and neither is the shop.

the owners only cared for how much money they made. they never paid workers fairly and favoritism was a big factor. Do not give normal raises in pay even after being there for over a year. unsafe work conditions.

This place doesn't even care for its workers all they care about is leaning their friends cars for a discount and to do it cheap and fast and prefect.

I learned many things about washing cars and how cars functions.
I like working there but it is tiring.
The co workers, owners are really friendly.
It is really good for people who wants working hours and experience.

the worst job i’ve ever had. management is somehow harder to tolerate than the job itself. do yourself a favour and only work here if you really need the money, you will hate it. 

Very poor management and very small chance of advancement. Safety hazards and little to no safety equipment. Low paying and non-guaranteed hours. They expect more than from staff then they are willing to pay

Enjoyed at first but turned out to be very stressful by the amount of work and pressure from management. Lack of direction made days almost impossible to get through .
