The company needs to restructure the site management. The management does not possess basic management skills and attitude, they like to divide the staff by their personal preference instead of the actual performance and skill set. 
Not a friendly place to work, you have to watch your back all the time, the cameras, and the snitcher.... toxic environment. 
People who didn’t have enough knowledge about the trade were hired. No actual health and safety regulations. The job site is chaotic and unsafe. 
Lack of basic tools, when you bring your tools, there is a good chance your tools will be missing or damaged in a short time. 
No overtime, but you will be asked to stay late to finish the job and sent home early any other day within the same pay period to avoid overtime pay, whenever the management feels fit. 
The staff turnover rate is unusually high, good and skilled people don't stay long.



Working at Mint Tiny House Company has been amazing in the short time I've been here. From day one, I've felt embraced by a team that values teamwork and camaraderie. There's a genuine sense of togetherness as we work towards our common goal of creating beautiful, sustainable tiny homes.

What I love most is the atmosphere of collaboration and support. Everyone is encouraged to share ideas and contribute their talents. Plus knowing that our work is making a positive impact on both individuals and the environment fills me with a sense pride aligning with Mint. 

In short, Mint Tiny House Company is more than just a workplace—it's a community where passion and purpose come together. I'm grateful to be a part of this team and excited for the journey ahead.

Performance review 

No Over time pay, you will be asked to stay late to complete deadlines and then be sent home early in the middle of the week to avoid paying any overtime. unorganized, first and only company to not have basic tools, no air hoses guns or saws available, when asked to bring your own tools they are unable to provide a safe place to store them, no tool reimbursement, or tool repairs offered 

Fail in basic managment skills. Time punch system and cameras on floor to watch your every move. Not a good place to work at all, 

Management is very rude and extremely cheap. 

My experience working at Mint Tiny Homes has been overwhelmingly positive thanks to its commitment to security and well being of its employees, pride in its diverse workforce,  and a genuine sense of camaraderie among  colleagues. It’s rare to find a workplace that excels in so many areas, but this company truly stands out as a beacon of excellence in every regard. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a fulfilling and rewarding career opportunity. 

I was in the production at Mint , and management honestly has no clue what they’re doing. Communication is terrible, and  we are rushing to build for 3 day line moves. I’ve heard from former co-workers that the company is in serious trouble with sales and morale is super low. Toxic environment with lots of favoritism. Unless leadership changes, I don’t see things getting better. Some coworkers are great, but overall, the company is going downhill. just wanted to share my honest experience when i was there

Excellent company to work with. The atmosphere is always very positive and I find every single person very cooperative and welcoming. The directors of the company have been very supportive and always encourage the innovation and creativity. 
Very high standard of safety protocols generally and specifically the COVID safety measures.
wages have ALWAYS been paid on time.
 In short wonderfull experience and great learning curve.

People are all nice to each other and management takes the lead in keeping a family kind of environment.  They trust their staff will do the right thing but always very supportive in guiding everyone specially the new ones.



The recent mass layoffs at Mint Tiny House feels like a betrayal. Leadership kept reassuring everyone things will be fine, only to suddenly cut jobs. It’s clear now those promises were empty, and the people paying the price are the ones who trusted them. The Director of Operations is to blame for all.

Mint sells tiny homes all over North America, from BC to USA its a fun place to work with lots of humor between the staff. Lots of smiles and laughs...

Not a good company to work for poor management, unorganized work environment, they don’t supply any tools, no space to work, poor quality, I feel bad for Anyone who buys these tiny homes. Hight turn over of employees, low pay.
