come in use the vantage computer system to discover next job in line. use vantage to acquire drawings. receive material from laser tables, or saw department, then use mastercam or g, code programming to produce a program that can do the required operation.  then setup the mazak milling machines to mill,and drill or setup the the mazak lathes to turn parts. in high volume or low part production.
most work is done independently, knowledgeable co-workers, hardest part of the job was the language barrier between a few individuals, and the most enjoyable part is making parts and having something tangible at the end of the shift.

I loved this job, thou it was very hectic and sometimes challenging it made me a better person.  With the help of my coworkers and some key people in Management I learned that no matter what challenges I faced I had people who care and would help.  I worked a nine-hour day and realized that I could only do so much but tomorrow it would still be on my desk.  

Im working on day shift, & its very busy for me because every department need some parts & im the only parts guy, I bring the metal parts to every department. When im all done with the parts, i walk around & double check if every welder & department got the parts they need. on my free time i do practice welding they incourage me to learn so i can be welder & move up from being a parts guy to a welder, work myself way up.

Print dispaching reports for customer to provide outgoing inventory.  Very fast past envoirnment.  Co-workers did not work as a Team alot of favortism with co workers.  Heavy workload of all documentaions.  I enjoyed dealign with customers and other emplyees to make the day menorable.

Work straight afternoons for 8 months went into work one day got called into h r and let go they said i wondered around to much  but i never left my work station during my shift after i was let go my co worker informed me they made an error it was suppose to be someone else that was to be let go not me. They made no attempt to correct the error

This company will work you to the bone until their contract gets light and then lay you off. I was laid off with two other shifts before about 400 people after us. They also only hire through agencies and never hire on or give benefits.

Company management is good. Right direction should be provided. There is good workplace culture. However it needs to improve with better direction, lean approach and systematic thinking.

Everything is amazing!!!clean shop, great management and co-workers. Job itself is fun working as a team to build bus frames. Great excercise. You keep in shape

Learned a lot from the Company, demonstrated in becoming the turret punch press and laser operator expert.  Had trained many new employees.
