	Forecasted and reported for the Camp and Travel department for submission to Senior Management (Bedding and Flight forecasts, Arrival/Departure reports)
	Room allocations and logistics for over 2300 employee’s; including flight bookings, orientation requests, etc
	Implemented new procedures and created manuals which provided efficiency for the Camp and Travel team
	Supported the Vendor Coordination Team in ensuring all Vendors are mobilized to site in a timely manner
	Created, updated and maintained rotation schedules and coordinated camp and travel for all ISCT Vendors on site

	Coordinated room and luggage moves daily
	Communicated with camp staff to ensure accuracy in room bookings as well as camp quality (food and accommodations) on a regular basis
	Provided issue and conflict resolution with regards to accommodation and travel for over 2300 employee’s
	Assisted in completing Document Control for the KID project
	Programs used: INNfinity, Concur–ibook, Visio, ATTASK, Lotus Notes

A typical day on this consisted of attending Toolbox Talks for the various trades, carrying out workplace inspections, carrying out Permit-to-work audits and responding to calls/questions from the tradesmen/women.
Being new to the Safety field, I was happy to learn how to carry out an incident investigation. Also how to deal with numerous contractors on site.
Management, for the most part, were great. They really seemed to care about there employees. There seemed to be a lack of planning with regards to PPE, though. 
My co-workers, tradesmen and Safety alike, were great. All very professional. 
The hardest part of this job was dealing with the tradesmen's complaints about a lack of PPE.
I really enjoyed the interaction with the tradesmen, as well as colleagues with other companies.

With 30 years of Millwright trade experience, I have certain standards when it comes to job performance, safety and security.  I was very pleased to observe that MMR Constructors were able to meet all of these standards.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my past work experience with this company.  I learned many new skills, for example, commissioning and was even able to perfect certain basic skills of my trade.  The management team was very supportive and my co-workers were always helpful and cooperative.  I fully believe that the most enjoyable part of this job was receiving and opportunity to work and meeting different individuals from all over the country.

My current position here is great with a decent shift and rate. The Camp is not very good at all and the bussing isn't what I'd call ideal. Typical day at work consists of getting control systems up and running, management is fine, some more direction and preparation would be nice I suppose but everyone is busy busy busy. Hardest part of the job is leaving home and dealing with the awful food at Kearl lake. A decent dinner is few and far between, don't get me started on the lunch selection, it is not good (not even decent fruit is offered, its all out of a can and doused in syrup/sugar) So best part of the day is during working hours making things happen and eating my peanut butter toast for lunch .

Working for MMR was a fantastic experience for me. I was my first time working in the Oil Sands, living in a camp and travelling across the country on a regular basis to work. I enjoyed every minute of it.

My job, as a Procurement Materials Coordinator, was fast paced and very busy. It was a highly productive team of which I enjoyed being a part of very much.

My co-workers were fabulous and have turned into life long friends.

The hardest part of my job was the extensive travelling. Thankfully, I had a 14 on 14 off rotation that allowed time to get over the long hours of travel back home.

The best part of my job was learning experience and meeting some amazing people.

My Experience with MMR as the most enjoyable and rewarding job I have ever had. I felt that I had a good work relationship with both my leads and coworkers. I learned a great deal about walkdown and commissionig procedures and protocals.
  At the end of the day I left with a sence of accomplishment and I also felt that what I was doing was worthwhile. I found that I enjoyed mentoring and being head of a crew in a building some of the more enjoyable parts of the job. 
  I made lasting friendships and I would like very much to have the opportunutity to work for MMR again soon.

Stay in camp Wapasu, the camp had everything from Tim Hortons to a Game Room. MMR was working at Kearl Lake Oil Sands at my time of employment. The co-workers all got along with each other helped out when needed. The hardest part of the job was staying awake 12 hours with little to nothing to do. During my time there, I learned what an oil sands plant looked like; how to fix and lubricate doors. the Most enjoyable part of the job was the shift, 2:2. Management was good they did their job they best way they could made sure the need for safety was well known.

MMR was a place were you were given the freedom to carry out your duties, to learn to grow, professionally and personally. You were given opportunity to advance and treated as a professional . I learn so much from my managers while working with them, they were an excellent company to work for.

Plenty of hours work was laid back but very productive. The foremans and super intendants were always trying to teach us something new. They were not scared to pay you. If you got a raise it’s because you shown enough improvement and “want to” to earn one. All you had to do is show up be willing to learn and get the job done safely and i got laid off bc of the time of year and i was the low guy on the totem pole but i just spoke with the superintendent yesterday and as soon as work picks up he’ll be giving me a call first thing.

good working environment, the pay is good, no advancements if you are not a Newfie.

You have to be from one of the Maritime Provinces to have a chance for advancement within the company, and even for regular jobs they will hire from the Maritime Provinces first, and then from anywhere else. 
So not an equal opportunity company, although it is fairly good if you are in transit.
