I spent about 7 years in the fabrication dept and was laid off 3 times, each time of different length with the final one due to bankruptcy. There was no job security, with the threat of a layoff always around the corner. Certain senior managers thrived on conflict and would frequently harass employees. Some of which did not understand some of the processes required for fabricating steel. All of the machinery, to some degree, had maintenance issues. 

There was plenty of good, which is why I stayed as long as I did. The wage, pension and benefits were good. The work/life balance was good with 4x 10hr days/nights.

Worked for a short time, and in those weeks I made a half decent wage.  Management had no idea what was happening, people kept changing positions and communication was their weakest link.  I attempted to communicate and it appeared to be interpreted as going over peoples head.  They discarded me quickly with no reasons and left feeling that everyone there was just a number.  Maybe it is just me, but I will never attempt to apply there again for any position regardless of wage due to the fact the employer is not trustworthy.

The first few years was ok. I tried to advance but, but was unable to because i was to good at my job. I've never been penalized for being good at my job before.

Nice place to work. Great, supportive environment and staff. Great environment to exploit your potentials and contribute to development. Excellent health and safety culture allowing every one to own and participate in safety and health issues.

There is no communication or clear direction. There are very little processes and procedures.  There seems to be no clear hierarchy.  Everyone does not follow a process.  There needs to be clear job definitions.  Too many people doing more than one job.  Would not recommend working here.

great for someone that wants to do it all and as long as you're skilled enough to do it it's good! but terrible city/town to live in... the fellow employees make the most of it but I'm reality they are just collecting a cheque! not many people actually took pride in their work!

Driving and calling on dealers and supporting over the phone, dealer training and end user training, get togethers suppers, dinners christmas parties, get to travel to france and australia

Good place to learn about quality and agriculture equipments. 
Management and co-workers are supportive. Hardest part of job is to move back and forth from one plant to another. Busy environment is a most enjoyable part of job.

Office duties very busy environment dealing with customers and programing machines planning production

It’s a fast paced job travelled lots to fix farm equipments great pay good supporting staff also would like to have my position back if they short on staff
