I worked in the customer service department for few years and I loved it. Despite of the stress as any other workplace because there is no stress free work, my anager did all she could to help us maintain our work-life balance. 
My manager was fun and always availble to listen and help with any issue work or life related. 
She is loud ohhhhh yes but Very funny and honest you see it in her eyes, she is funny and always find an escape to laugh in the middle of difficult situation, always backing us in case of mistakes.
The workload is tolerable comparing to other call centres. 
If I need a job again I will never hesitate to apply In the same department or where ever other department this same manager works in.

Worked dealing with cases of government claims and ex patriate claims. I see why customers are frustrated. Technology is so outdated and awful and we cannot fully access the claim information to help people when they call in.  No on the job training. Told to deny claims at random  and then the customer gets mad asking why the previous insurer paid them for years and I have no answers to give them. Mentally it takes a toll.  Depressing work environment. I do not expect this company to even last long  as McDonald’s pays better and has better training than this place. High turnover due to how poor the training and managers are. 

I will start with my cup of coffee, reading and answering e-mails and review my voice-mail, investigating and returning calls, usually from brokers. Everyday is different, some days I will run the integration of the accounting information from one system to another, I would enter the invoices received in the accounting system and cut cheques, other days I would do accounts payable reconciliations, Pay brokers, create commission summaries. What I enjoy the most is when I solve problems successfully and take the iniciative to implement new procedures to make work more efficient.

Senior management holds town halls talking about how the company is doing well despite COVID and pats themselves in the back while the staff is overworked and underpaid. Only a 2% "raise" in the past two years for the ENTIRE COMPANY (performance was not taken into consideration, the 2% was applied across the board to make up for the previous 2 years). 

Company is very out of touch with what's going on with its staff. 

Some departments are better than others but upper management doesn't seem to notice or care about what goes on in the bad ones. Workplace bullying was a daily occurrence and the pay is below industry standard. They pay as little as possible because they know the unemployment rate is so high, people are desperate. You would be better off working in a restaurant or at the mall where there aren't ongoing mind games and bullying. They take money off everyone's mediocre paycheck for "office activities" that rarely happen. It's a pretty miserable place to work and everybody knows it.

very poor organization within the company and they like to blame the lower staff for managerial defaults

no help as all managers are too busy to help

blame blame blame thay all they did and vauge threats about losing your position

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
open up programs and start data entry all day till the day is finished

I  worked in the Claims department for 3 months, and the supervisor treated me worse than a dog. The TL is smart, but she does not how  treat coworkers. The rest of the team look bad treatment and nobody says anything. However, I left a letter expressing my dissatisfaction in human resources and I got the feeling that they were agree how the supervisor and seniors bully people. If you choose to work there, please  think about it  at least twice.

Company frequently cycles out permanent staff for contract employees, metrics and timelines are drastically shorter than required, and management is frequently hostile.  Compensation is also below industry standard.

I worked for ten years and always felt good about my job and my colleagues. I always felt like I was helping a lot of people who would never meet me. I loved my job and appreciated my colleagues.

MSH is a good place to work but i often feel overworked and covering multiple positions at once

The salary isnt the best but it does pay the bills.  

The yearly raises arent huge and the bonuses are rather small compared to other companies.
