What is the best part of working at the company?
Work from home that's it. Was good at the beginning with certain supervisors and now most supervisor suck.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Reading everything verbatim and reading way too much a script. Not enough help when needed, they just say read your info again and you'll find it, even though the customer needs to wait another 10 min.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Your just a number and tells you during training were here to help once your on your own, but never last.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Too many people in queue waiting and you don't have time to go to the washroom, since they know your every move away from phone

Typical day at work would find me assigning personnel to production lines. I learned how to get the most from people by using their strengths to overcome some weakness. Management was for the most part very good to work with, would listen to your idea's and offer advice. Co-workers were great to work with, would help each other out to keep the line moving.The hardest part of the job was suspending a friend for three days for breaking the rules regarding smoking in the workplace. The most enjoyable part of the job was the look on employee's faces when I would make it a point to thank them for a job well done.

Working at MTD is definitely a breath of fresh air. A very established company with an excellent culture that does truly feel like a family. Everyone comes to work to be successful and is supported all along the way by their managers and senior leadership at the company. 

Leadership at MTD is very down to earth and works with you to help achieve your goals and ensure you are successful. They recognize that much of the company's success is driven by hard work and contributions of all the employees.

Professional, caring organization that still believes that the customer is still #1.  Advancement through hard work and commitment.  Well-managed, smart business people.  Co-workers are all my friends.  Hardest part of the job was travel time away when my family was young. The most enjoyable part was being part of a team that cared about you and the success of the business, equally.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Starting at 8.00am and closing at 5.00pm was what I like about the company 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not given equal opportunity to employees.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good, but their roof need to work on to stop leakage.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Just normal, a worker you see todaymay not come tomorrow because he is sacked.

Overall MTD was a good family grown company to work for. There was job security and it had a work force of unionized and non union employees. Variety of a work day may include picking orders, doing inventory, loading and unloading trucks, refilling storage bins and making sure proper product codes are labelled and put in proper place. Maintaining a clean work area and order.

A training period for 3 months / 8 hours a day 
Supported the IT team in solving all the technical  problems for the company staff   
Had a great time with a friendly and a helpful team
It was great to be able to identify the root cause of the problem and succeed in fixing it.
Time was the hardest factor in our job,  delay could cause the company thousands

I've had the opportunity to have many roles at this manufacturing/distribution employer.  I found most people were very eager to help you and the culture was fair and they did a good job making employees feel valued (Christmas break paid, ice cream Fridays, food truck days, etc)

I love dealing with the public. I have a natural repor with people and was liked very much. With both jobs i excelled in customer service and my responsibilities.

MTD would extend contracts last minute. Pay isn't competitive. Co-Workers are reliable and great to work with. No room to move up. Systems are behind but co-workers are always trying to find ways to improve.
