The job was for a retail sales position, where in I was required to sell appliances and parts for GE. I learned to use the data entry operating system BAAN, which was used for invoicing, transferring inventory, etc. Management and co-workers were easy to deal with and integrated me into their system very quickly. A challenge that I had to overcome was the physical lifting aspect of the job. Sometimes the job didn't test my potential to the greatest advantage, which is why I left the company in search of something better.

It is a great place to work, salary could be a bit more competitive but over all they are good people to work for.
I've learned that with team work you can really be quite successful at your job.
Management could improve somewhat but most over all it's ok.
Co-workers are all fantastic.
Hardest part of the job is working on saturdays
Most enjoyable is that you can be your self.

On a day to day basis I would got into work and take calls from customer's needing assistance to administrating their warranty concerns.
I would also process online faxes for warranty concerns.

Very high expectations in an extremely fast paced environment.  Plenty of opportunity to learn and grow if you are able to keep up with management expectations.

Management driven business, employees forced into retirement/being let go but no replacement, workload added on to employees without monetary changes.  No morale

Excellent atmosphere to work for , was very stable , a model for manuifacturing experience

Great small company here in Canada but huge company in Mexico and South America
